We’re thrilled to introduce Joanna Helm and António Choupina as this year’s curators! 🌍
This year’s theme, CHANGE, focuses on architecture as a tool to address urgent global challenges, from sustainability to social transformation.

By rethinking environments, cultures, and practices, Archi Summit 2025 aims to inspire radical ideas and explore new solutions that shape the future of our built world. 🌱✨

Joanna, architect and former Editor-in-Chief of ArchDaily , has a wealth of experience curating innovative events and exhibitions across Latin America and Europe. Her focus on architectural content and major cultural projects makes her a game-changer. 🌱

António, founder of CH.A (Choupina.Arquitectos), is renowned for his collaborations with Álvaro Siza and curating exhibitions that celebrate architectural heritage. His expertise bridges tradition and modernity. ✨

🚀 Archi Summit: A look back

Since the first edition at Silo Auto in 2015 to iconic venues such as LX Factory (2018) and Carpintarias de São Lázaro (2019), the Archi Summit has consistently pushed the boundaries of architecture in Portugal.

Previous editions have featured influential architects, including Álvaro Siza Vieira, whose visionary work has inspired debates and exhibitions over the years.

Now, we're heading to the Beato Innovation District in 2025 for the 8th edition, ready to shape the future once again!

Architects, not Architecture: Porto Edition 2024 🏛️

Architects, not Architecture series is coming to Portugal for the first time. On November 6, 2024, Porto will host this unique event where renowned architects move beyond their projects to share the personal stories that shaped their careers.

The highlights of this edition are:

Manuel Aires Mateus (Lisbon) – internationally celebrated for his philosophical approach to design, exploring memory and culture through architecture.

Nuno Brandão Costa (Porto) – a native of Porto with a diverse body of work exhibited globally.

Andreia Garcia (Porto) – an architect, curator, and researcher specializing in urbanism and public engagement.
