Previously owned by the Paróquia da Nossa Senhora da Boavista, the house used to be a centre for a group of girl scouts and a kindergarten.During Critical Concretes Summer School 2016, participants were working on the refurbishment and development of this space. Today Co-Lateral is the first production centre in the
neighbourhood of Ramalde with co-working and co-building

Co-Lateral is offering co-working and production facilities for creative minds, architects, urbanists, cultural actors and makers conceptually connected to Critical Concrete’s framework. At this moment the co-working space and the wood & metal workshop are fully prepared for people to use. For the co-living residence we are looking for creative makers that share similar interests in sustainable and durable making and building to rent our facilities. EVENTSPACE
Furthermore, the space is framed around the social activities of the neighbourhood and works in tight collaboration with the local associations to offer popular cultural formats twisted with critical content. Moreover, the building contains a large event space and a meeting room available for events.
