For this wedding, we knew one thing from the very beginning: it needed an extraordinary human touch.

Our fantastic Maria Miguel Neves , from PORTUGAL WEDDING PLANNERS team, led the on-site coordination with care, precision and that quiet presence that makes everything feel effortless.

At Quinta das Lágrimas, love is never just a love story.
It is memory.
It is loss.
It is promise.
Inês and Pedro never reached their wedding day.
Centuries later, others do.
They come to the place where one of Portugal’s most enduring love stories ended, and make a different promise. One that is celebrated, witnessed and lived.
A different couple.
A different ending.
The same place.
For Ana and Jefferson, we wanted the celebration to belong to Quinta das Lágrimas as much as it belonged to them.

An outdoor wedding in Portugal is easy to fall in love with.

After all, this is a country made of breathtaking views, extraordinary flavours, warm hospitality and long days designed for celebration.

What is less obvious is everything required to bring a setting like this to life.

Behind every table are months of planning: coordinating rentals, florals, design and service teams, anticipating weather conditions, ensuring guest comfort, managing logistics, power, timing and countless moving parts that guests will never notice and shouldn't have to.

A wedding planner's role is to turn complexity into ease. To make sure every detail works in harmony so that the couple and their guests can simply enjoy the moment.

And what a joy it was to do so for Ana Rita and Charles. Their warmth, kindness and genuine love for the people around them shaped the atmosphere of the entire celebration. The beauty of a wedding never comes from the setting alone; it comes from the people gathered around the table.

Portugal provided the backdrop. They brought the magic.
