Look, we are a group of naughty individuals deeply bored by our daily too many meetings, too busy schedules and too much stress we all have to cope with. Therefore, we thought whether we could do something about this. Something different. After quite a few brainstorming cocktails we designed a brand new kind of after-work party. Would care to find out more about it? We asked ourselves, what kind of party should this be to attract the right sort of people? And then it all came clear: a party for those who work their butts off from 9 to 5 all week long and each and every day dream about the weekend only - and when it's there, they run for the seaside to escape the heat, the dust and the same faces. What if we could make the seaside come to Bucharest for a change? And what if we could reach the most beautiful boys and girls in town and persuade them all to call in sick on Thursday after lunch - only to attract them to an exclusive refreshing pool for a late afternoon swim, a cocktail or two and a hot dancing journey towards the sunset - and beyond? [and we said yeah, perhaps somewhere out here there are a few people who think as we do, we would only have to find them...] And then, we asked ourselves again, where to find these people - and what to tell them to join our vision? We had quite a heated debate, and then the idea sparkled out: we'll target them on Facebook where they always are, at work, at home or anywhere, after all. So we decided we will invest in an "all inclusive for all exclusive" first party - and invite only those who are really open minded and eager enough to escape the corporate trap on working day and commit to joining the tribe of unconventional extroverts ready to risk - and win - a different experience. Are you one of them? We also thought of rewarding the brave and the bold by covering in full all expenses incurred by the party's set-up, artists’ fees and the other facilities for the gig. And half of the drinking costs as well. Therefore, you are supposed to commit covering the other half, so that sometimes you can have something to bite, sometimes a fresh fruits bar and sometimes even an "all you can drink" exclusive package (including various shots, premium beer, white and rose selected wine, heritage Scotch whisky, Swedish vodka, Italian first choice aperitivo, Cuban rum, plus softdrinks and coffee) during the whole afternoon and way all up through the evening. After a careful consideration we chose AQUA by Pescariu Sports & Spa (http://bit.ly/18vu3GR) - just because it's rather central, and how to put it... it really is the place you'd wish to trade your damp office for on a hot Thursday afternoon - look at the pictures in the link, don't you agree? And then all this needed a name. And because we like fizzy things, for this first edition we named it BUBBLZ, the first jet set's cool by the pool till sunset and beyond bash. The next will have different names, such as Boolbooked, Aquamarina or Duckside... follow us and you'll discover all kinds of surprises. Please note that we are keen on keeping our artists (DJs, live acts and occasionally bands) identity confidential, as we believe in partying for the quality of the crowd first and surprising our guests with genuine quality entertainment, without the glitz - and the buzz - of a poster.
Some may say we cover for amateurism in this respect - we say you come see by yourself if there's quality and then you'll appreciate that at The Workshops entertainment is not a matter of setting high expectations and underdeliver, but of always pleasantly surprising our guests with top talent while keeping a low profile.
