Welcome to a very special edition of That Disco Groove Radio Show.

Recorded a few weeks ago with the intention of crate digging through both my expanding vinyl 45 collection and the more obscure parts of my original disco digital library.

The result is a blend of downtempo soul music, synth led early/mid 80s funk, afro crossover & dancefloor disco with occasional snaps and crackles of some well worn in vinyl. Much of the music is included during the 'golden years' of disco from 77 to 85.

Joining us for hour 2, we stay in theme with Newcastle based DJ's and Strut 2 Disco head honchos RJ. Many of you will know and be fans of their massively popular monthly edits mixes, and if you aren't, you need to get involved! The boys play us a wonderful and thoughtfully selected set of disco records which perfectly round off this fortnights show!

The weekend has arrived and along with it the 4th edition of A Chance To Dance, the series where we bring the finest deep grooves that we can lay our hands on.

As usual, we deliver the first hours worth of music which this week features new material from Buscrates with his Funked Up Mix of Sam Redmore and Lumi HD’s soulful flow ‘Party’ on Jalapeño Records. Also MarzAttack with the b-side of their new 2 tracker on Feedasoul Records and Will Buck with his offering from the ’Stand Together’ VA from the guys at Blaq Numbers. Elsewhere we have tracks from Donnie Moustaki, Intr0beatz, Closed Paradise, Tour-Maubourg and Cosmonection.

Retaining the high calibre of guests to the series we are delighted to welcome Moment Cinetique. Showcasing his diverse taste in sounds from the low-slung, deep and dusty right through to high-tempo, synth-led beats, featuring a multitude of artists such as Felipe Gordon, Carlo and Simon Hinter from master curators of sound such as SlothBoogie, Toy Tonics and Shall Not Fade, this is a set of the highest quality. Tracks from a duo of new and forthcoming EP’s on the Moment Cinetique label are also featured, with Tiptoes and his ‘Tape Crusades’ (out now) and Sweet Fruity Brunch with a release due at the end of the month. Thank you to Dave for taking the time to bring us a sublime set.

Whats good guys! Our latest Radio Show is now live and we are joined this week by Adelaide based producer of disco, soulful house, afro and jazz house, Charly Angelz.

Hour one we blend the finest new releases from the likes of Delfonic, Kapote, Infradisco, AFAMoo, Scott Diaz , Folamour & more. Its a real blend of disco, jazz and soulful house.

For hour 2 we lend the airwaves to Charly Angelz who takes us on a ride through disco & house with recognised producers from both fields such as Hotmood, DJ Spen & Mark Farina.

A Chance To Dance.

This new show gives us a chance to showcase the finest dusty jazz house, filtered disco and disco-house, soulful deep beats, classic bumps and 4/4 with a sprinkling of the odd afro beat, piano stab, acid squelch and more. If it kicks, you can hear it here.

We kick off proceedings for the first hour, then we close off each episode with a guest mix. This week we are joined by DJ, producer and multi-label founder, Igor Gonya.
