🫢😲 See Les Misérables for just £10!

The wonderful have a limited number of £10 tickets available for 16-24 year olds to attend a unique performance of Les Misérables, dedicated for young people only, on Tuesday 14 May at 1.30pm at the Sondheim Theatre.

PLUS you will also get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the show featuring a Q&A with cast members. Wow, wow, wow! What are you waiting for?!

Once booked, collect your tickets from the Box Office on the day of the performance when you are ready to enter the theatre (they cannot be picked up in advance). You will also need to bring ID for proof of age! 🪪

We welcomed over 1000 of you to TheatreCraft23 last Monday and we had the best time, we hope you did too! We'd love to hear about your experience exploring the Exhibitor Marketplace, Workshops, Talks, Tours and Onstage Demonstrations.

If you attended TheatreCraft23, please check your emails for a chance to win £100 of Theatre Tokens by filling out our feedback form. It's completely anonymous, so please be honest about what we did well, and what we could improve on. Simply complete the feedback form in the email and add your email address to be entered into our prize draw*.

Talk to universities and drama schools about their courses, find out what sort of jobs make up venue and theatre supplier teams and ask them what they look for when they hire! No question is a silly one, be brave and discover all the different roles theatre has to offer!

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is the largest arts festival in the world and has been a staple since 1985. At the 2023 festival the Pleasance operated 30 venues across 3 sites, bringing audiences of over 600,000 and presenting 5,723 performances. Each year they recruit a huge team of volunteers who play a vital role in the day to day running of the sites.

If you're booked into this workshop you’ll learn more about the kinds of opportunities and training available through the programme, as well as learning more about how the festival as a whole operates.

If you've booked into Theatrical Trickery at 88MPH: Explore AV at the Adelphi Theatre, you're in for a treat! The Sound, Automation, Lighting and Video departments will share how, with the help of the Flux Capacitor, they travel back in time to 1955 and then get Back To The Future! You'll meet some of the amazing backstage professionals who make a Delorian appear out of thin air and then have it travel through time. Learn (some!) of the tricks of the trade onstage, and at the control desks of the cutting-edge production of Back To The Future and see for yourself just how these different technical teams work together to create amazing theatre.
