Jugalbandhi dance group started around 20 years ago by Annelie and Reneesh with a view to spread indian classical dance in Sweden.
They began with Bharathanatyam and Odissi, forming a "jugalbandhi", performing and teaching in Sweden. They have performed at several occasions including the embassy of India in Stockholm and Kulturkalaset.
Over the years, the group has continued to perform and teach new students Bharatanatyam. With new dancers from all over India, the group now is a big family, exploring new avenues while sticking to the roots of classical dance.
We are super excited to announce that with a growing team of talented dancers, they are set to dazzle audiences with their upcoming performance for us at the Gothenburg Film Studios on March 24th at our Holi Festival.

Happy International Women's Day. Mia Events is proud to announce our collaboration with Hand in hand Sweden for this Festival of Colors Holi In Gothenburg Film Studios this 24th of March.
We visited Kerstin Samuelson and her team in their office in Stockholm and got a walk through of how they work with their vision to empower women with grassroot companies aligned with UNs vision. As important as it sounds there is a lot of work involved by several enthusiasts to execute these projects in countries like India, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania and Afghanistan.
We will contribute a part of the proceedings of this Event to Hand in Hand India for their latest project called EMPOWER HER lifting up women and society through entrepreneurship and a strong network. You will also have a possibility to top up the contributions during the event.
Lets celebrate by celebrating the power and will to join and contribute for 'HER' empowerment!
