What a lovely weekend! I have participated in the Swedish Photography Championships 2024, and after the digital qualification I was selected as a print finalist in the Wedding Open category, and this weekend was the final.

My image came in 6th place with a Merit. I'm very proud to make the top 10 among so many high quality photographers. My picture was taken in Iceland with magical Sigríður Ólöf during her preparations.

I also received a Diploma with Merit in the Fine Art category with a bo***ir image, which I appreciate so much. I am still most proud of my fantastic clients, who trust me to be creative with them.

I went to the event with my best friend Fotograf Anneli and we had a fun photography geek day with amazing photographers, panel debates, seminars, prize ceremony and good food.

And a big thank you to Svenska Mästerskapet i Fotografi for such great event 🥳

Nelson Mandela once said, “I never lose. I either win or I learn.”, and I grow a lot when I compete with my images.

This window in Stockholm City Hall reminds me of when I decided to listen to the same 15 min talk by my mentor Jesh De Rox every day for 100 days while doing my yin yoga.

I discovered the power of repetition. The amazing thing was that every day I listened I found new understanding, new inputs, new angles, new shapes and new inspiration & creativity, and I grew as a human.

The 100 days changed me. I feel the same with this amazing window. Every time I shoot a fabulous wedding couple in this window, I do it with curiosity, like it was the first time.

This is me and my Insta account! I’m an awarded wedding & bo***ir photographer from Sweden, and I help wedding couples & women to feel confident and amazing in front of the camera and get worldclass photos.

I have over 100 weddings behind me in Sweden, Europe & beyond, from small intimate to grandiose weekend weddings. I specialise in Iceland, France, Bali and Sweden, but I go everywhere there is a love story to tell.

For me, the camera is a way to visualize and remember beautiful moments in life. You know you have moments and celebrations you never want to forget as long as you live. Moments and celebrations that will be spoken for many generations to come. I want you to remember them, your LOVE BEYOND TIME.

I also love making women feel better about themselves and combined with the art of black and white photography, is a real passion of mine.

I dont think we are one thing or one profession. Life is a constant exploring in all that you are. I’m also a .meditation Facilitator, Graduated Writing Pedagogue, Creative Business Coach, Star Gazer, Oracle Card & Yoga Nerd, and at the end of the day, I just want to be in nature.

Sometimes I have to pinch my arm. It's the third year in a row that I've photographed weddings in Iceland. I get to be on this wild & mystic island, and meet my absolut stunning & fun wedding couples.

Now I'm sitting here in AWE looking out the window just trying to find the words for what I'm feeling about the most mesmerizing Sóla & Karl, who I photographed this year in August.

I just want to say, THANK YOU!

THANK YOU for choosing to fly me and my wonderful wingwoman Anneli to your wedding, and THANK YOU to trust us to fulfill your dreams about your wedding images. We had so much fun with you, your family and your friends.

The day ended with the most beautiful sunset, and Anneli can really throw a dress in to a perfect shape.

Igår hade jag äran att fota ett frieri. Många blev nyfikna såklart. Så roligt och härligt, och stort grattis 🥂💓💍💫

Ett högtflygande frieri var vad Västeråsarna bjöds på under måndagskvällen: ”Edita, will you marry me?”, flankerat av röda hjärtan, stod det på en flygande banderoll som vida syntes över Västerås.

I met adorable Louise & Jonathan through a colleague. I stepped in and took over when she got Covid. It is so wonderful that we help each other when needed. One day it could be me.

For the portraits, we strolled through the center of Stockholm and passed Humlegårdsparken and Lärkstaden. Louise & Jonathan held hands and giggled, and I followed in their flow as I love to do.

It was really hot so we stopped at cutest .marche.sthlm to sit in the shade for a while and I took this picture I love so much.

I named the Image ”Pause in the heat” and it came 5th place in Swedish Photography Championship in the Wedding Documentary Category 2022

💓 Nu börjar man verkligen längta efter vårens och sommarens alla underbara Stadshus bröllop så boka gärna mig som er bröllopsfotograf.

When I met Ásta & Þorsteinn at the very North West corner of Iceland, in the small beautiful town of Bolungervik in the Westfjords, a wonderful friendship arose. I will always long to return. Their wedding day was so joyful, and Ásta wrote this post on Facebook that made my heart melt;

“I got to admire Sandra and Anneli, Sandra was the photographer all day with us this summer and brought Anneli who recorded the whole day on video. They are amazing with a great personality and absolutely amazing skills, and after the wedding, everyone was talking about how cool they were.

Also just everything around booking her, all the little things Sandra did for us, the little gifts for the wedding, how professional she was with contracts, handing over the photos and helping with printing and doing more with the photos afterwards. At least I made friends after this trip that I will definitely book again for the next occasion.

I recommend them 150%!

I also definitely recommend a bo***ir photo shoot with Sandra, I just can't say enough about the photos I got and how comfortable it was to go to the photo shoot with Sandra, even though I was very nervous, but she just did everything so wonderfully.”

In Toledo, Spain, wonderful little Leo charmed all the wedding guest, and stole the show with the most confident expression. I still get a good laugh thinking about this moment.

This weekend I came 3rd place in Swedish Photography Championship in the category Wedding Documentary, and won a bronze medal with this image ”When you look away”. It scored 87.8 points in the level Distinction, which means very high competition quality. I’m beyond happy, humble & grateful.

The judges said ”This is a really strong and funny image, and what you can see on a wedding. Love the two arms trying to save the situation and the child has an absolut amazing expression. Very well done, and bravo to the photographer for seeing and capture it so quickly.”

I love love wedding documentary because it celebrates what happens autentic & naturally. For me it’s about what you feel. The things you laugh & cry about for generations to come.

I also got one more Distinction diploma (& 5th place in print competition), one Merit & one Honourable mention

SM i Fotografi was such a brilliantly designed event, with fabulous judges and my photographer colleagues have such high skills. So impressed by each and everyone. I have learned so much & got inspired.

What a wedding season 2022. I’m blown away about my freaking amazing couples, their families & friends, and also the fantastic suppliers I have met.

I’ve been working almost every weekend since may, and I haven’t really had time for social media because I wanted to be with my family in-between weddings.

But now I feel like faboulous Christina & Philipp - running in happiness - being able to enjoy all the loving images from this summer.

Sweetest Christina & Philipp got married at the most beautiful venue in the Jämtland wilderness in Sweden, and in all kinds of weather such as storm, rain, sun & golden hour you could always hear their happy laughter.
