Alexandra’s morning was layered with emotion. One moment, full-body laughter. The next, silent tears and deep breaths. That kind of beautiful, messy buildup that happens when it all starts to feel real.

It wasn’t about perfection. It was about her people, zipping up dresses, adjusting sleeves, passing around bouquets, and grounding her in the middle of it all. No fuss, just presence. And maybe a little chaos. The good kind!!

These in-between moments always hit different. Before the ceremony, before the music, before anything official begins. There’s something raw and grounding in the quiet (and not-so-quiet) energy of a room full of people who love you.

Endless gratitude to the incredible team who pulled this day together with so much care and intention for and ✨

Sweden really shows off in June. Evenings where the sun refuses to clock out, and the light just hangs. Soft, warm, and wildly flattering. Honestly, it feels like cheating.

This was one of those nights. Long after dinner, in an open field, light still pouring in like it had a deadline. Shot on my Contax 645 with expired Fujicolor film, because when the light gives you this much to work with, I want to meet it with the good stuff.

I’ve photographed weddings all over Europe, but these endless Swedish summer nights? Nothing else quite compares. Wouldn’t trade them for the world.

Thinking of getting married in Sweden 2026? Especially in June? You might be onto something. My calendar’s open, just saying.

Wandering through Gran Villa Rosa with my film cameras and a couple rolls of Kodak Portra 400. Honestly, this place feels like it was made for film. Palm shadows, the stripey poolside umbrellas, that sun-drenched Mediterranean light? Ahhhh!

Every corner is a mood. The winding paths, the lush greenery, pops of turquoise, vintage holiday vibes in the best way. Shot these in between wedding moments, just soaking up the atmosphere (and maybe daydreaming about moving in permanently…).

Spain, you’re magic. And Portra 400, forever my ride or die.

Wedding flatlays, are we still into them, or are we over it?

Swipe through for some artfully styled goodness and tell me, are flatlays still a must-have for your wedding day, or are we moving on?

Yay for flatlays? Nah, let’s keep it moving? Only if there’s a handwritten love note involved?

Drop your hot takes in the comments!

One thoughtful detail that makes weddings even better for everyone involved 👇🏼

When a planner sends over a brief with all the vendor socials, it’s the kind of pro move that makes everything run smoother.

Sharing is easy, everyone gets the credit they deserve, and just shows they’ve thought of every detail. Always a pleasure working with planners who keep things this dialed in!

I get to work with some of the most talented, detail-obsessed, and all around brilliant planners every year. The amount of work they put in behind the scenes, juggling timelines, handling logistics, and making sure everything flows seamlessly, is next level impressive!

Because of their hard work, I can focus on capturing every moment that matters, knowing the day is in expert hands.

So, to all the planners out there: THANK YOU. Your dedication and expertise don’t go unnoticed. Since I’m all about making life easier, tell me, what can I do as a photographer to help you? How can I better serve both our couples and you, the incredible planner who brings it all together?

Late night ci**rs, a sun soaked terrace, and one jaw-dropping gown, Marta and Chris’s wedding at the dreamy (yes, I said it) Gran Villa Rosa was a total chef’s kiss. And the crowd? Hands down the most stylish I’ve ever photographed. (Seriously, was this a wedding or a Vogue editorial?)

It was the kind of wedding where time doesn’t exist, laughter bounces off flower-covered walls, and dancing under the stars effortlessly turns into a full blown after party (as it should!). Basically, if you need me, I’ll be manifesting more Barcelona destination wedding nights just like this.

Big love to the bride and groom and the A-team that made this magic happen:

Three years later, right back where it all started. Michelle and Karl returned to Norrviken in Båstad to celebrate their anniversary, and I got to capture it all over again. These two radiate warmth and kindness, and photographing them felt like the best kind of full-circle moment.

Once again, Norrviken proves it doesn’t care what season it is, the gardens still deliver color and atmosphere, even under November’s moody skies.

Shot on Kodak Portra 400 with my Contax 645. Film processed by the brilliant Malvarrosa film lab.

Here’s to more anniversaries, more love, and more beautiful days like this one!

Thinking about for your wedding? Swing by tomorrow for the open house! I’ll be there along with a bunch of other wedding experts. Come say hi, ask all your questions, and, of course, grab some fika.

Let’s settle this once and for all, if you had to pick one wedding cake from this lineup, which one gets your vote?

And more importantly, what’s your go-to cake flavor? (Because let’s be honest, looks are great, but taste reigns supreme.)

This beauty took the cover spot, but will it be the crowd favorite? Drop your picks below, and if you say anything other than chocolate, vanilla, or lemon, I need details. We’re talking passionfruit ganache or earl grey lavender level specifics. Don’t hold back.

If there’s one thing we love, it’s a wedding where every little detail gets the attention it deserves. And let’s just say, the team behind Alexandra & Jahmai’s winter wedding at understood the assignment.

brought the vision to life with stunning styling, created floral arrangements that made the whole space feel like an elegant winter dream, and captured it all on video, making sure & can relive this stunning day forever. And me? I had the best time documenting every candlelit, beautiful candid moment (while pretending I wasn’t eyeing the cake).

Also, can we take a moment for this reception hall? High ceilings, chandeliers, candlelight, pure atmosphere! The kind of space that makes you want to sit and soak it all in… or at least delay the dancing just a little longer.

Teamwork at its finest, and proof that a cosy winter wedding in Sweden can be as stylish as it is magical. Swipe through for gorgeous details!

A Swedish Obsession? Probably 😄

If there’s one thing Swedes take seriously, besides discussing the bad weather and perfectly timing our “tack för senast” messages, it’s fika. And what’s fika without a cinnamon bun? A sad excuse for a coffee break, that’s what.

We’re so committed to this fluffy, buttery, masterpiece that we gave it its own holiday. Yep! that’s when 9 million buns vanish across Sweden.

That’s not even counting all the homemade ones, like these absolute delicious ones, baked by the bride, Camilla, for her wedding. I mean, talk about dedication! If I had to bake for my own wedding, I’d probably just elope and call it a day.

But this image isn’t just about cinnamon buns, though I fully support making them the centerpiece of any occasion, it’s part of my personal vow to share more of the things that truly speak to me this year. Whether it’s nostalgic Swedish traditions, unforgettable wedding details, or, in this case, both.

And of course, I shot this on Kodak Gold 200 with my Contax 645. Because if I’m going to document something as sacred as a homemade cinnamon bun, it deserves the beauty of medium format film. / Isabelle

Troy & Joey on their wedding day, caught in those perfect, unfiltered moments. Just pure joy, no posing. Just them, soaking it all in.

Their intimate celebration at Villa Montanare had everything, a close-knit group of loved ones, a little afternoon rain (for the drama), and the most incredible Tuscan evening light as a reward.

Photographed on Kodak Portra 400 with Hasselblad H4.

Still so honored to have been there, camera in hand and work with this incredible couple and a team of talented wedding professionals and artists!

Your wedding details deserve better.

The flowers, the candlelit tables, the handwritten place cards, none of it just magically appeared. You (or someone you paid very well) put thought, time, and energy into every single choice. So why wouldn’t those details be photographed with the same care as the rest of the day?

People will remember the laughter, the hugs, and the wild dance moves. But those little touches? They fade fast. That’s why I document everything. Not for the planner’s portfolio, not for mine, not for Instagram, but for YOU.

Because when the confetti settles, I want you to have more than just a memory. I want you to have proof of the magic created.

So when you’re flipping through your wedding photos years from now, I hope you don’t just see your day. I hope you feel it all over again.

If that’s the kind of wedding photography you’re looking for, you know where to find me!

Cheers, Isabelle

Ready to laugh?? 😆

I asked chatGPT to roast my Instagram feed…

“You’re giving major “I breathe gorgeous places, art and light leaks” vibes—like if you cut you open, light would spill out instead of blood. You’re practically an ambassador for creamy tones and timeless, painterly portraits.

Between the abundance of couples smiling into majestic backgrounds of Europe and the perfectly curated tablescapes, your feed is basically a wedding mood board for Pinterest with a doctorate in elegance. Is this an Insta feed or are you trying to start a cult of romanticism? Because I’m on the verge of ordering myself a champagne tower and proposing to a stranger just to match the vibe.

Now, as beautiful as this looks, I might have to ask—are the smiles of your couples getting progressively more perfect, or have you discovered a secret “joy filter”? I bet even their sneezes come out photogenic. And these couples... do they even exist outside of golden hour? Like, do they only emerge from hiding when the sun is exactly at that flattering angle?

Finally, let’s talk about the cakes. There are cakes on your feed that are more photogenic than I’ll ever be. Do they even get eaten or are they just secretly sculpted marble? Those cake shots are so pristine, I wouldn’t be surprised if they get a Vogue spread before I do.

But for real, your grid is on point—seriously swoon-worthy. It’s the kind of feed where even the outtakes probably look editorial. You’re like the Beyoncé of wedding photography, just effortlessly making everything look like a flawless, romantic dream.”

Have you asked for yours to be roasted? Let me know so we can laugh together!! 😂

Images from the archives. Anna & Rich eloped and tied the knot at in Ravello. Photographed on film, probably on Contax or Mamiya 645, can’t remember which, I’ve own too many film cameras! (Like that was ever a problem 😉)
