It’s funny how “effortless” only happens when everyone’s doing their job.

Because the kind of ease you see in these photos?
That takes spreadsheets. And stamina.
A team that knows when to step in, and when to step out of sight.
A couple who trusts the process.
And a location that basically pulls its own weight.

This weekend looked relaxed because every hard thing was handled before the first guest showed up.

Save it, share it, send it to someone who still thinks table settings set themselves.

Couldn’t have done this without a team who absolutely knew what they were doing, from the first plan to the final candle.

Turns out film still does color better than anything with a screen. IMHO.

Fresh scans just in from the lab!! Sara & Shawn’s Indian-Swedish-American wedding by the water brought sequins, saris, sea breeze, and not a flat tone in sight.

You can’t really plan for unforgettable moments like this, they just happen.

So you gotta give things time to flow naturally. That means not stuffing the timeline like a Thanksgiving turkey.

It means letting people breathe. Letting light do its thing. Letting emotions land before you rush off to the next spot.

This is what happens when you do…
You get film frames that look like they were pulled from a 1960s movie.

You get that post-ceremony exhale in the backseat of a vintage car.

You get flower petals stuck in your veil, THAT kind of moment at the church doors and a “we freaking did it” grin that doesn’t need staging.

A wedding planner with actual superpowers.
Real people. Real light. Trust.

Double win today:
This Villa Montanare wedding is featured on (!!) and it’s Midsummer here in Sweden, basically our national holiday for dancing around plants and pretending schnapps is hydration.

This celebration though, one for the books. Effortless but elevated. Autumn tones, golden Tuscan light, and a couple who cared more about meaning than spectacle.
I brought the film, the florals brought the drama, and the figs did their best to steal the show.

So proud to see it published today, and even more proud to have been the one trusted to document it.

That’s not a set design. That’s just Stockholm.

Built across 14 islands, connected by 57 bridges, with the royal palace right in the middle, Stockholm isn’t trying to be photogenic. She just is.

Cobbled streets, grand architecture, old world light bouncing off the water. My city knows how to show up for the camera (and she looks even better photographed on film).

This is my hometown. Born and raised here. I know where the light hits best and where to find that hidden spot and where not to go because, packed with tourists.

I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings here. From royal backdrops like this to hidden gardens and candlelit archipelago dinners.

So if you’re thinking Stockholm is just a pitstop on the Europe tour, think again. So if you’re thinking Stockholm is just a pitstop on the Europe tour, think again.

For couples who want a celebration steeped in Scandi light, style, and history, this city absolutely delivers!!

Turns out, Stockholm can handle full sun, a Monday weddings and a mariachi band…
(And no one melted.)

Carlos & Anna threw a Stockholm celebration that was equal parts elegant and unbothered, in the best way.

Blazing sun? Film said yes.
Candlelit dinner? Still yes.
Royal castle backdrop, best damn cake I’ve ever tasted (and that says a lot), and enough joy to power the whole city? Absolutely.

Moooore coming. But for now, here’s a first peek.
Shot on Kodak Portra400 with a splash of Gold200 and other film stock. Basically what I had on me when it was time to change rolls.

To the ones who want more than just a few photos of everyone looking at the camera.
This one’s for you..

To the ones who want to 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 what this season of life felt like.
Not just what it looked like.

The wet clothes.
The sandy toes.
The squishy cheeks.
The quiet things that actually 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿.

No Pinterest board needed.
Just a warm summer afternoon near their home and living life.

I bring my camera and we let the rest unfold.

I usually offer these sessions just to past wedding clients.
But this one popped up and made me want to open up a few more spots this summer.

If you’re in Stockholm (or nearby), I’ll come to you.
At home, in your garden, or wherever your kids already feel like themselves.

No pressure.
No performance.
Just a bit of childhood summer, the real stuff.

If it feels like something for you, send me a message.
Or save it for later. Either works.

Not urgent.
But also… don’t wait forever.
𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 one day.

Some weddings whisper. Others throw open the door with a cocktail in hand and say, “Let’s do this.” Megan and Austin’s playful and design forward wedding at Smådalarö Gård Hotell & Spa was definitely the latter.

The vibe, Stockholm seaside setting. No navy or beige in sight!
I shoot a lot of weddings, but this one had that rare mix of heart and style. It was photogenic, yes, but more importantly, it was magnetic. It pulled everyone in. And selfishly? It made my job ridiculously fun.

Today, Megan and Austin's wedding is live on the blog! If you love color, you need to see this tropical fruit meet Swedish summer wedding in the best possible way!

Save this for later (even if your wedding is still a secret Pinterest board).

Because your prep space might be the last thing you think about, but it’s the first place I start photographing.

Here are 5 things I always look for when arriving at a getting ready location. These little details make a big difference in how your photos turn out.

1. Natural light. Always. Preferably from big windows, not from a ceiling fixture that makes everything look like a dentist’s office.

2. Neutral tones. Light walls, soft textures, minimal chaos. Think calm, not colorful.

3. Space. A lot of it. Especially if you’re planning to get dressed with family or your wedding party. Small rooms = clutter, fast.

4. Character. A vintage chair, architectural charm, it all helps frame the story without overpowering it.

5. Less stuff. Way, way less stuff! Keep suitcases, hangers, snack bags, and random extras in one corner (or even better, a closet). Trust me. Your gallery will thank you.

I’d love to say I’ll post one of these every week. Let’s just call it an optimistic work in progress.

Why I Took This?

This new series is all about the why behind the frame. Because every photo I take, is a decision. A feeling. A way of seeing.

This was taken moments before guests were invited to sit inside the Victoria glasshouse at Norrviken. The room was quiet and the light did exactly what I hoped it would. My goal is that it feels like you’ve just walked in and noticed how everything’s been thoughtfully placed. Most couples never get to see it like this. And they should.

I don’t shoot details just for the sake of them. I shoot them because they’re part of the full story. The ceremony, the chairs, the flowers. This is how the space felt. How it looked before the laughter, the music, the movement.
