Holding it together? Overrated.

I see moments like this unfold every wedding, and let me tell you, I have to actively think about something painfully dull just to keep from sobbing behind my camera.

Unlike this incredible groom, who fully embraced the moment and let it all out. Love. That. So. Much.

And what’s my secret weapon for keeping my emotions in check? Soccer. Easily the most yawn-inducing sport for me (no offense to the fans out there, you do you! 😉).

Still, this moment? Absolute goal.

Sometimes my words just aren’t enough to express how incredibly lucky I am to do what I do. So, I’ll let Leah & Drew take it from here:

“Isabelle!! What more can I say other than she is absolute perfection. I remember seeing Isabelle’s profile on Instagram and was immediately enamored, her work was so stunning I was hoping she wouldn’t be booked for our date. Being two Americans having a destination wedding in Sweden while reconnecting with my roots and Swedish family, it was so important to find the photographer who could capture these very special moments. If I could describe Isabelle when we first met during our Zoom meeting, she exudes warmth, confidence, and love. The stars aligned and she was available for our date, so we immediately knew she was the one to be there for our big day! Everyone LOVED Isabelle, so many of our guests came up to us after and said how impressed they were, and with her right-hand man Levi, who was also fantastic. We have nothing but praises to sing about Isabelle, she is more than a photographer but practically family now! We love you, Isabelle! Tack så mycket for capturing our big day! 💛”

This moment? Pure magic. The evening before their wedding, we met up for a casual dip in the ocean at the beach in Varberg, and I knew I had to capture it on film. No stiff posing, no rush. Just soaking it all in. There’s something about the way Kodak Portra 400 catches light, colors and emotion that makes it feel even more.

Kicking off 2025 with a vow I can actually keep, sharing more of the photos that truly resonate with me.

As a film photographer, I’ve always been drawn to images that feel like quiet stories. This one, captured on Portra 400 film with my Hasselblad H4x, feels like that to me.

Taken during Emily and Chris’ wedding T in Stockholm, this still-life captures the anticipation in the room, the calm before the whirlwind of the day unfolds.

There’s something so grounding about this moment, and the way the light gently spills in feels like an embrace, full of promise and joy.

This year, I’m focusing on creating for the art, not the algorithm. I hope you’ll love seeing these glimpses of the weddings I’m lucky enough to document.

Wrapping up this year and wedding season with a day that hit all the right notes. Jahmai and Alexandra threw the kind of celebration that felt like home. Relaxed, FUN, and full of the good kind of chaos that happens when you pack all your favorite people into one room.

It was the perfect mix of Swedish and American traditions, with friends and family laughing, eating, dancing, and turning strangers into new best friends by the end of the night. A day that didn’t just look beautiful, but felt beautiful too.

Alexandra and Jahmai, you absolutely nailed it 🙌 Thanks for letting me tag along to document all the love and all the fun 🫶🤩 what a way to close out the year!!

A huge shoutout to the brilliant team of professionals who made this day come to life. Wedding planner magician kept everything seamless and stress-free, floral magic by Madeleine at turned every corner into a work of art, and the stunning delivered not just a breathtaking venue but incredible food. Truly in awe of what this dream team created!

25 years, two incredible daughters, and countless shared adventures later. Mia & Jocke finally made it official 🙌
