ENGINE DJ OS

• Engine DJ Profiles - Create a custom DJ profile to personalize your Engine DJ device, easily register your hardware,
and automatically log in to your music streaming and cloud service subscriptions with a single device login.

• Streaming Analysis Database - Access crowd-sourced metadata and beat grid information for supported
streaming services. Once a track has been analyzed by a user logged into their Engine DJ profile, the beat grid, key,
and BPM data are uploaded to the streaming analysis database for immediate access in streaming service track lists
without analysis.

• Match - Easily find songs in your library lists compatible with songs loaded to the decks with new, intelligent, and
powerful Match filters.

• Fader Echo - Automatically apply an Echo effect by lowering a channel fader or moving the crossfader away from
the mix-out deck. This allows for seamless transitions when mixing tracks.

• Phase Meter - The new dynamic Phase Meter provides high visibility of the deck’s beat offset from the lead deck.

Engine DJ v3.2.0 Now Available!

New Features
Day Mode - A new daylight-optimized UI theme is now available. To enable day mode, open the Control Center and tap the new Layout option.

Fuzzy Key Mixing - The new Fuzzy Key matching option allows key syncing to the closest compatible key instead of the same key, minimizing potential large jumps in pitch.

FX Select - A new effect select menu for both Main and Touch FX allows for fast and easy effect selection by touching the effect name on the touchscreen. Note: The new FX select touch menu, is available for products with a single FX select k**b. Coming soon to PRIME 4 and PRIME 4+.

Flex Gate FX - A new and improved gate effect with various gate types synchronizing to the track’s phase. This effect replaces Auto Gate.

Numark Engine DJ devices can now switch between Isolate and Normal mixer EQ types.

Improvements and Fixes
• Downbeat detection has been improved for greater accuracy. Tracks previously analyzed must be re-analyzed in Engine DJ (desktop) to take advantage of this improvement.
• The Play as Playlist button is now an icon.
• Fixed a phase alignment issue for effects that consider track phase when triggering.
• Fixed an issue where Engine DJ Remote Library would not connect after restarting Engine DJ hardware.
• Fixed an issue where certain Wi-Fi login error dialogs would continue to show repeatedly after being dismissed.
• Fixed an issue where the track end warning would not show on short tracks.
• Fixed an issue where, in rare circumstances, instant doubling a track would lead to the browse k**b and navigation buttons to stop functioning.

Engine DJ 3.1 is here! This free update to engine DJ OS brings additional features to all Denon and Numark hardware running ENGINE DJ.

Updates to ENGINE DJ Desktop are also included in this release.

ENGINE DJ OS
Touch FX - Use the touchscreen to control and interact with FX in a whole new way. Swipe in any direction to instantly create build-ups, drops, and transitions. Touch FX options include Filter Echo, Filter Reverb, Filter Roll, LFO Echo, Filter Dub Echo, Filter Gate, Noise Gate, Flanger, LFO Filter, and Filter.

New Main FX - Over 25 new and enhanced dynamic FX options for Denon DJ hardware including Echo Out, SwellVerb, Hold Echo, Recycler, Stutter Out, Riser, Pitch Down, Scale Down, Reverb, LFO Verb, Reverb Drop, Reverse Reverb, Reverb Rise, Flanger (-), Beat Break, Backspin, Brake, and Roll. All effects now offer a Frequency
parameter, allowing you to apply the effect to a focused frequency range.

Sampler Updates - Sampler audio can be routed to any available channel or the Main output and can now be accessed by double-pressing the Roll pad mode button.

ENGINE DJ DESKTOP
Smartlists - Automatically organize songs from all connected drives into playlists based on the criteria or rules that you specify. To create a Smartlist, click the Smartlist icon on the Collection folder or right-click on an existing Playlist and select ‘Create Smartlist’. You can easily turn a Smartlist into a regular playlist by right-clicking the Smartlist and choosing ‘Convert to Playlist’. This creates a Playlist with the same name & content as the Smartlist.

Engine DJ version 2.2 for Desktop and OS is here delivering new features and plenty of fixes and improvements to DJs.

Leading the charge is the new Active Loop feature which enables users to set up to 8 Active Loops on either Desktop or direct on Engine DJ Hardware. FX Control has been expanded for Numark Mixstream Pro users and Metronome comes to the Desktop

Active Loops – Saved Loops can now be automatically activated when the play head enters the loop region. Active Loops feature a zebra pattern in the loop region bar to differentiate from standard Saved Loops. Setting an Active Loop on Engine DJ hardware is also possible for devices with Parameter buttons. To set an Active Loop, press and hold the left parameter button and then press the desired Saved Loop pad.

FX Time Division & Amount UI - The Numark Mixstream Pro now offers FX Time Division and FX Amount as interactive elements on the touchscreen. This allows DJs to further customize the onboard effects. (MIXSTREAM PRO) Controller Mode unlocked for Virtual DJ - switch the Mixstream Pro to Computer Mode and connect it to the latest Virtual DJ to use it as a controller. (MIXSTREAM PRO)
Jog wheel nudge sensitivity has been expanded with an additional reduced sensitivity level setting called “Min” Nudge Sensitivity is now included in the User Profile. This allows the setting to be applied automatically when the profile is loaded on any Engine DJ device.

•Metronome - To aid in beat grid editing, Engine DJ now features a built-in metronome. The audible metronome tick will play each time the play head passes a beat marker. To enable the Metronome, open the Beat Grid Edit panel. The volume level of the Metronome can also be adjusted from this panel.
