Gavana & Anaya

Gavana (Anna Gavanas) & Anaya (Anna Öström) is a DJ & writer team. They have been an integral part of the Swedish DJ-scene since the late 90s as DJs, club promoters and writers. They play a wide range of electronic music: deep, bold and always with a twist. After 20 years behind the decks they are not afraid of mixing sounds and beats from all over the place and they love vinyl. Together they have written the highly publicized book “DJ life: the history of Stockholm’s DJ culture”, released February 2016 on Gidlunds Press. They are also the founders of the network Sister Sthlm which was the biggest Swedish network for female DJs and producers 2003-2008.
