We are a a community of artists, DJ’s, musicians, dancers and ravers with a love for music and a passion for soulful dance and rhythm. Given the diverse nature of our community, we draw inspiration from a wide spectrum of cultural expressions and styles from urban electronic beats to funk and soul and from Africa to Latin America. Our vision is to expand the boundaries of ceremony in order to brin

g a carnival atmosphere to Uppsala and share it with the community, while keeping an underground spirit. The Urban Tribe events feature live musicians, percussionists and artists, as well as local acts who endeavor to weave together a variety of rhythms, such as House, Disco, Funk and Afrobeat, with a particular emphasis on soulful and spiritual music. Welcome into our sanctuary. The objects of worship are music and community, delivered by a top-quality sound system, and clergy of musical artists.

Our host venue Kotteriet is now sadly closed but Urban Tribe will live on and keep the vibe alive! Our next party is scheduled for Saturday 10 June so keep you eyes open for the event with our new location that is coming up with the next week. The party continues 🤩🤩
