Simon Engstrom Photography Please visit my instagram for an up to date portfolio: I'm a Swedish assignment photographer based in Uppsala.

I mainly provide imagery and writing for the NGO community with a specialisation in humanitarian photography. Much of my work therefore revolves around documenting fieldwork in developing countries, and is used in humanitarian aid campaigns and related marketing endeavours. I studied photography at the Graphic Education Centre in Uppsala year 2000, and also hold two bachelor degrees from Uppsala u

niversity; a BSc in Political science, and a BA in Practical philosophy (the latter from the program Cultural and Social Analysis). Before transitioning to photography, I worked within Human Resources as president of a local trade union club, belonging to one of the country’s largest unions. Besides my profession, I'm also a father of two and an award winning guitarist.
