TODAY! OFFICIAL LAUNCH dreaming of the divine downstairs
Today, April 2_2023 Philippine Embassy Singapore, the Official Launch of dreaming of the divine downstairs. This first full-length poetry book features Singapore-based Filipina poets globally acclaimed Migs Bravo Dutt Cathy Limpe Candano Claire Betita de Guzman with portrait cover by artist@Namiko Takahashi Chan-Lee. CONGRATULATIONS LADIES! I Laud these superbly gifted ladies and our inspirational authors who have time and again resurrected the passion and life of Philippine literature in Singapore and the world. I am exceptionally proud to be reading an excerpt of these poems today, one by Migs Bravo Dutt, a writer and researcher (The Rosales House) and also publisher/editor Get Lucky: An Anthology of Philippine and Singapore Writings with acclaimed Dr. Eric Valles for volumes one and two. I was invited and got inspired to share some of my poems in both publications.
"For Poems are magical and emotive. They document our innermost happiness, aspirations, sadness, excitement and memories. POEMS are siblings of SONGS -which I write more.

Thank you Singapore Red Cross! My memorable project for 2022 was becoming a fundraiser for WOMEN IN RED. Ladies who took time to support the Red Cross cause came together to spread love, talents, time and our hearts for the month of December 2022. Hopefully we all are able to make some people celebrate their Christmas in more meaningful ways!

Officially! I'm a Poet!
Now that Get Luckier An Anthology of Philippine and Singapore Writers II (sequel to Get Lucky)has been published, I am proudly adding POET as credit to my name and credentials. I heard it first from Dr Eric Valles during the Poetry Reading--A Given Grace. I've contributed to Get Lucky and now in Get Luckier. My works (poems) are published. WOW!!! Thank you Dr. Eric Tinsay Valles, Migs Bravo Dutt Bbcon Contreras Cabrera, Edward Roa Vinluan DengCoy Miel for those seemingly lazy afternoon coffee chats. It's making me giddy with excitement. If I can write lyrics to my music, surely with the right support poems will come by easy..or so I thought...well not exactly. Listening.reading to so much talents and writings from these gifted poets---I knew this is another art form.
Overall, I am thankful for the encouragement and appreciation, despite only a few contributions. This is certainly only the beginning...NOW THAT I AM A POET!
