MC, rapper, writer, poet, hype man, Inja has made a formidable name for himself across various genres and industries as a versatile performer capable of conjuring poetic lyrics in any situation possible – from hip-hop and main stage drum and bass events, to intimate jazz nights freestyling with live bands.

Inja is excited to perform as part of the 35 Years of Formation tour with rave / jungle / dnb LEGENDS Grooverider and DJSS.

UKG crew, bass heads, party crew, this one is an early festive season love letter to you.

DJ EZ is widely regarded as one of the finest and most technically gifted DJs on the planet. He’s been a musical force of nature for over two decades, saluted by both the industry and the public for being one of the most creative mixers around withan extraordinary instinct and technical prowess - not to mention owning the quickest fingers in the trade with his trademark cue button action displays during his sets.

This much-loved London DJ is synonymous with UK Garage. A long-time radio stalwart, currently presenting a monthly Residency show on BBC Radio 1 as well as his globally syndicated NUVOLVE radio show, DJ EZ has also curated and mixed some of the biggest UK Garage compilations to date. His legendary Boiler Room live stream has been viewed by millions and is widely regarded as one of the greatest UK Garage sets of all time.

In support, we bring Suburban Culture, a DJ duo hailing from London, drawing much of their inspiration from the emergence and growth of electronic music genres from the 90’s. Their journey started back in the days of vinyl and dubplate culture, but now look to push the underground music scene deeper across Asia. Their sets always aim to get the dancefloor moving and include a mix of recent material and some timeless classics.

Finally, welcoming JAC, stalwart of the SG bass music scene, who is delighted to support with poppin’ basslines and hard urban funk.

Drum n Bass in the red dot! Sick all-female lineup showcasing the full range of drum & bass with Stay-C (South Africa), NYX (SG/AUS) and local bass doyenne KRSTN at Salud, Keong Saik on 1/11.

Influenced by the high-octane sonics of the South African and UK drum and bass scenes, Stay-C’s sound is ever-evolving but distinctly identifiable by her gritty drums and animated bass lines.

Following her showcase as Hospital Record’s first ‘Women in Drum and Bass’ mentee, Stay-C has released crowd-pleasing tracks with heavyweight labels such as Soulvent, Onyx Recordings, and Drum and Bass Arena.

Stay-C’s unadulterated sets have seen her play at clubs such as Fabric, Motion Bristol, and Hidden Manchester. In her own words, festivals are her playground and here you can catch her cosmic sourcery be it at Let it Roll, Hospitality on the Beach, or Twilight in Johannesburg.

Stay-C prides herself on exploring all spectrums of electronic music and is ever-hungry for ways to expand her music paradigm and integrate fresh aspects into her sound which is ‘Alien Jungle Music.’

With support from Perth based but SG bred NYX and the doyenne of SG bass music herself KRSTN, this is a low hz tear-out not to be missed.

DJ FRESH IN SINGAPORE SAT 28/09 AT IKI

One of the most prolific and influential figures in bass music history, we are delighted to host for his first ever SG date.

As one of the principal members of the notorious drum n bass group Bad Company, Fresh cut his teeth in the dark underground. As co-founder of Breakbeat Kaos with Adam F, he was instrumental in launching the careers of Pendulum and Brookes Brothers, and later springboarded into crossover commercial success.

His album Nextlevelism debuted at Number One and he has collaborated with numerous artists such as Ms Dynamite, Diplo, and Kanye West.

Fresh is excited to lay down a hard-hitting drum n bass set for the SG crowd showcasing the cutting edge of the 174bpm world, and showcasing the past, present and future of his work including material from his upcoming album.

Supported by local DnB luminary Zul and the prodigious talent of DJ JAZ, this will be a bass heavy night for the history books.

This is it! Absolutely stoked to host V RECORDINGS first ever showcase in Singapore at iKi for their 30th anniversary, featuring Drum n bass royalty and label boss Bryan Gee, scene darlings Paul T & Edward Oberon, Saxxon, global rhymer Felon MC plus MC Battery and our residents.

Such a deep lineup is a rare sight in the little red dot and this is one not to be missed for anyone with a cursory interest in Drum n Bass and Jungle music.
The show is on a weeknight, 30th April 2024, but happily the following day is a public holiday so many of us will be able to enjoy the night and recuperate in peace the next day :-)
