The recent announcement at the National Day Rally that mask wearing indoors will soon be optional is a welcome piece of news for all and also for events.

Although it sounds like a small thing, having a mask on or not does in fact affect the event experience. Just imagine a wedding with and without masks to see the difference!

We're looking forward to when even-goers can freely enjoy events and event pictures are no longer marred by masks!

Singapore's COVID-19 measures have protected its people well, but with the situation stabilising, mask requirements can be eased, says Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong during National Day Rally 2022.

We had a blast helping to organise Let’s All Celebrate Singapore in conjunction with Community Arts Network and JOURNEY by TOUCH Community Services over the National Day period!

The meaningful art exhibition showcased the works of 21 artists with special needs, along with other artist friends, and helped to support them through sale of the art. Over the 10 day period, various exciting events like a bonsai workshop and playback workshop were also held at the gallery, welcoming all to enjoy the arts and celebrate Singapore together!

Thanks to all who supported the events and special needs artists in one way or another! And for those who couldn’t make it, here’s a quick peek at what went on.

Aardvark Events & Studios is proud to be the event partner of 'Let's All Celebrate Singapore', an art exhibition featuring artworks from 21 artists with special needs.

In this first-ever collaboration between Community Arts Network and JOURNEY by TOUCH Community Services, and in conjunction with Singapore's 57th birthday, take a peek into the creativity and imagination of the special artists' works that celebrate the resilience and achievement of Singapore over the years!

The paintings will be on display and available for sale from 5th to 14th August. Proceeds from the sale of the artwork will go to the special artists and TOUCH for its programmes.

Safety is of utmost importance in any event and it should be a given that measures are taken to ensure it.

But when things are hurried, corners are cut, or circumstances are just unfortunate, accidents may happen, even if you are a superstar.

This incident has been big news recently and really highlights the importance of safety in events.

While most of us will not hold an event the size of a concert, little things like ensuring portable tables and chairs are properly set up and signage is securely fastened can make the difference between a successful event and a disaster.

The Singapore Night Festival is finally set to return next month! Featuring light installations, projection mapping, performances and other programmes and experiences, it looks like it will be an exciting one!

We love such events not only for highlighting arts and culture and availing it to all, but for the level of skill and planning involved to make it run smoothly. Such a big event covering so many locations takes a lot of planning, coordination and liaison to makes sure each component is successfully run and that all the separate installations come together as part of the whole programme.

With a theme of ‘Rebirth’ which resonates well with current pandemic-recovery times, we hope the Night Festival will bring light and cheer to all! Looking forward to it!

The festival's 13th edition seeks to reimagine the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct "in a whole new light" with a range of performances and art installations. It will run at various locations across the neighbourhood from Aug 19 to 27.

Who’s excited for JJ Lin’s concert in Singapore? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Following Billie Eilish and Mayday, the home-grown star is the latest to announce live concerts in Singapore in a revival of large scale live music events.

While online concerts and performances were a welcome treat during the height of the pandemic, it’s hard to replace the atmosphere and energy of a live concert with a virtual one. Some events are just better in person, don’t you agree?

It’s good to see events returning to pre-pandemic styles and the latest to revive festivities is the Istana open house coming up this weekend!

Visiting the Istana is a rare occasion which is only possible a few times a year and we’re glad that it is able to hold a proper National Day celebration this year with performances, activities, food and fun! Best of all, the open house also supports charities which are part of the President’s Challenge.

It's wonderful to see the National Day Parade back in full swing this year, including the preview shows for Primary 5 students.

Holding such a large scale iconic event is no easy feat, especially in pandemic times, and with local transmission on the rise these days.

Many considerations need to be taken and safe management measures (SMM) put in place to ensure the safety of both audience and participants.

Having an in-house Safe Events Ambassador and experience running events with SMMs ourselves, we know how important these are in these times.

TBT to the MADNFT 2022 exhibition at ART NOW earlier this year.

Displaying NFTs from local and international artists of various backgrounds in the stylish gallery space of ART NOW, the event saw many an NFT enthusiast turn up to check out, and purchase, promising new works. Artists were also on hand to talk about their pieces and share their stories.
