We are excited to introduce once again, more amazing dancers and instructors at Singapore Only Dance Afro-Kiz.

𝓐𝓷𝓭𝔂 & 𝓑𝓲𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓪 run The Happyfeet Dance Project based in Shanghai, China, where they both teach Semba, Kizomba, Urbankiz, Brazilian Zouk, Kompa, and Afro.

𝓐𝓷𝓭𝔂 𝓗𝓪𝓹𝓹𝔂𝓯𝓮𝓮𝓽 is a Haitian-American based in Shanghai, China. He had trained under top international artistes and the first ever in China to organize three (3) consecutive Kizomba festivals and One (1) Brazilian Zouk Congress: China Kizomba Congress and China Brazilian Zouk Congress.

𝓑𝓲𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓪, born in Zambia, is a passionate dance lover who began to train with Andy. Among her favorite styles are Semba, Kompa, Salsa, Kiz and Brazilian Zouk.

Jay has been passionately teaching and sharing dance for a number of years here and abroad. He found his passion for Afro-Latin dances in the late 2000’s and has embraced it not just as another dance genre but as his passion, lifestyle and culture.

He has competed and championed Urbankiz in several international competitions representing the Philippines. Continually advocating for the Manila Afro Latin scene and being a small part of this is what keeps him engaged.

Trained under the tutelage of various international artists over the years, he looks to spread his love for Tarraxo. He is also one of the founding members of Tarraxo Philippines.

We look forward to having Jay with us at Singapore Only Dance - Afro Kiz in just a few days!

Introducing Kevin & Ququ, founders of Passada Culture Center in Guangzhou, who bring with them, their fellow teachers Zhalgas & Trista.

KEVIN MASGRAU 🇪🇸🇫🇷 was a former musician at the Brazilian carnival playing Surdo and Piano Jazz. After moving to China, he became one of the pioneers introducing Kizomba to many cities. Apart from teaching Kizomba since 2012, he is also the creator of the Passada teaching methodology running at several studios across China and also organised several Kizomba festivals in China from 2017 to 2023. In 2019, he was awarded 3rd Place in the Luanda MNR Kizomba & Semba competition.

And our event schedule is finally out 🥳🥳

We have been overwhelmed the past month by the number of bookings - we went from removing fixtures in our initial venue to make more dancing space to finally adding an extra room as well so as not to disappoint anyone. Don't worry, both rooms are right next to each other 😊

Phuket-based Aniki (France) will conduct a 1 hour Urban Kiz workshop you do not want to miss and many other instructors will also be there to dance with you!

Sean Kim has been dancing various Latin dances for 15 years and Kizomba for 10 years.

Over the last 7 years, he taught Kizomba actively in Korea and was also invited to teach intensive workshops in China. He is also a member of the European Taxi Dancers Platform.

We are excited to announce that Sean will be bringing his group from Korea to join us at Singapore Only Dance - Afro Kiz this 14-16 April!

Bonny has been learning, dancing and teaching Salsa, Bachata & Kizomba for 11 years. He believes in training oneself and has held true to that belief, continuously training and upgrading his dancing.

He started his own dance company “Bonny M’s Dance Co.” in 2020 and trained more than 100 people for 1000 hours in first 500 days of his company starting.

Bonny is also the organizer for many weekenders and training programs in Chennai including the Biggest and longest-running dance festival ever, the Afro Latin Training Congress and Dance Festival in 2021 ( festival). ALTCAD (Afro Latin Training Congress and Dance Festival) proudly hosted 55 Artists and DJs with 100 participants for a unique festival that ran for a whole month of February 2021.

He also organised the country’s biggest Afro Latin Dance festival, La AFRO Beach Vacay, hosting nearly 100 Artists Performers and 500 Participants from all over the world.

Known for his musicality, energy & style of dancing, Bonny is a regular at many International festivals in India, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines to dance, perform & teach. He had also won Kizomba competitions held in Chennai and Online in Asia.

A corporate man by day, Bonny’s passion, talent & contribution to the dance committee is evident and we are really honoured to have him on our Singapore Only Dance - Afro Kiz dance floor this 14-16 April!

Jay was a strong supporter of our 1st Singapore Only Dance event in 2019 and we are excited to welcome him back with us again! 👏🏽 👏🏽

Jay was a winner of several dance championships in Latin Ballroom , Modern Ballroom & Argentinian Tango before moving to Indonesia in 2015 where he learned and immediately fell in love with Kizomba and also won other accolades. He continued to learn, compete, perform and teach Kizomba in Jakarta.

Jay is a very passionate and expressive dancer and strongly believes that dancing is to express and not to impress.

Stefanos, originally a Cuban salsa dancer who moved onto dancing Kizomba was attracted by the beautiful music as well as the space for creative expression and connection while dancing. He went on to developing his knowledge and dancing style in Bangkok and London as well as in many festivals globally.

Stefanos is currently based in Bangkok and is the resident kiz teacher at DJ Ploy’s weekly Bangkok Afro-Latin social. He was also invited as a taxi dancer and to teach at festivals in India and Thailand.

We love Stefanos’ passion for Kizomba and his enthusiasm to share and exchange knowledge to help the Kizomba community grow both in Bangkok and Asia ❤️‍🔥
