Millions of tons of plastic are dumped into the ocean each year, endangering marine life and ecosystems. Sea creatures can accidentally eat plastic or get tangled in it, causing serious harm or even death.

The dinner featured delights such as Lobster Bisque Soup, NOAA Fisheries Certified Alaskan Snow Crab appetizers, Chicken Roulade and Miso-glazed Cod Fish entrees, and concluded with the indulgent Chocolate Bavarois Dome. Blue Water EduFest 2023 concludes with a Beach and Marina Clean Up program on the final day.

In the marina, we collected 176 items which weighed a whopping 385kg! And at the beach, we collected 77kg of trash!

Thank you to all volunteers for your passion and efforts in making this cleaning initiative possible and a success. The first step to creating a better and cleaner environment starts with putting in action to make this a reality.
