Since 1959, " Kompang Melayu Bintang Timur " was establish in early kampung days for weddings . Early age of Jaini Abdullah now known as Wak Jai is one of the members in this group . In early 90's to enhance the performance of the group, "Kuda Kepang" , metalaphone combine with kompang was use as to lead the way for Bride&Groom not a form of trance but purely,solely as cultural dance and performan

ce. As demand from our loyal supporters and fellow customers we begin with options form of performance such as " Tarian/Iringan Kuda Kepang/ Javanese dance/ Malay Zapin" with our own original instrumental 'live' gamelan ensemble that was shown in some parts of Malaysia . Bringing in a new era of Kmbtt Wak Jai ( Kompang Melayu Bintang Timur Traditional Wak Jai) supports from fellow members and families we create Orchestra Gamelan'kustik which includes kompang ,gamelan , acoustic strings , percussion , drum machine , dance performance which plays evergreen , malay traditional and up to date songs with our own Dj/Emcee in house create a lovely atmosphere ... to boost the entertainment that will entertain not only Bride&Groom but the guest that was invited. Kmbtt Orchestra Gamelan'kustik Wak Jai was known with services that you need in any event .
