I understand why old-school fans might criticize younger DJs for not playing 80s retro songs well, but I think it's essential to consider the emotional attachment we have to memories. Every 80s song evokes a specific moment in time for us. Similarly, younger generations will have their own nostalgic connections to the music of their era (2000-2024). When their time comes, they'll cherish and play their own retro favorites, just as we do now. It's all about perspective and respecting the passage of time.
