2024 has been one to remember, full of 1000% weddingtastic memories, from epic wedding days to preweddings all around the world! I never imagined when we were first starting out my dream would come true, that one day I’d ever get the chance to spend half the year traveling for prewedding shoots, to Japan, New Zealand, Taiwan, Bali (twice!), and even the States! But here we are, and it’s just so humbling to look back as I reflect; frankly, it’s a little emotionally overwhelming and makes me all misty-eyed when I think about how much trust everyone has placed in me to document their journeys and memories that they will remember for a lifetime.

I’m also grateful to my team (hey we’re all closing in on a decade together, can you believe it?), family and friends for their support over the years. Grateful to God for the opportunity to do what I love most, and thankful to be surrounded by so many caring and compassionate souls that have done nothing but care for me and guide me to where we are today (no one does it alone!). Can’t wait to see what next year holds, but at the moment just feeling blessed and content to be in this moment of reflection and appreciation! Thank you to all our couples for giving me the honor to capture your sweet wedding memories and heartfelt stories with my cameras!

As we bid farewell to 2024, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for every couple who trusted me to capture their love stories this year.

From breathtaking venues to intimate “I do’s,” each wedding reminded me why I love what I do—turning fleeting moments into memories that last forever.

To all the beautiful souls I’ve worked with this year: thank you for letting me be part of your special day. Your joy, laughter, and love have inspired me and shaped my craft.

(1/3) - 2024 Icon Photography Awards Competition

Pretty hard to believe, but here we are with 3 awards from Icon International Photography Awards’ 2024 competition! Honestly just can’t believe it…but more than anything else, feeling super grateful to all my family and friends for all their love and support, as well as the couples who trust us year in and year out to capture their stories and wedding journey—thank you so much!! ❤️ There is no way any of this happens without each and every one of you!

More than anything else, these photos and all the fun bts shots we took during each of those prewedding adventures represent cherished wedding memories for our couples /.thoughts and / ! That we get to win awards for our work is really just cream cheese frosting on top of a sumptuous red velvet cake!

This first photo from Padar Island brings back the sweetest memories from our prewedding shoot with Chloe and Patrick! 🏝️✨ After a fun (but super hot!) hike up to the summit, we were treated to a blazing sunset that painted the skies in hues of gold and blue - it was amazing seeing our couple stand at the summit (particularly Chloe in her super epic wedding gown) all shimmering in the sunlight!

Thankful also to my incredible teammates Xinyi and Benny (and Yuka!) who helped to bring their creativity and camaraderie, and help turn our creative vision into reality! And finally, thank you to for all your hard work in putting together this incredible competition and uniting the global wedding photography community!

(2/3) - 2024 Icon Photography Awards Competition

Our second award (and our first Distinction!) took place amidst the vibrant hues of Pink Beach, again with Chloe and Patrick (yes that’s two amazing photos with them, both taken on the same day)!

As the late afternoon sun kissed the horizon, the pink sand shimmered under their feet, and crystal-clear blue waters sparkled behind them. Wouldn’t have this shot without - thank you for noticing that the late afternoon shadows were long, and so we could use them to add an extra special dimension to this photo!

One of my favorite bts shots of us ever - bringing the photo to the Labuan Bajo fish market where we had dinner and seeing Chloe and Patrick’s reaction to this shot!

Once again, teamwork made this dream work! Appreciate Xinyi and Benny (and Yuka!) being there to help bring their expertise and energy to every shot, helping us capture Chloe and Patrick’s story!

(3/3) - 2024 Icon Photography Awards Competition

Earlier in the year, and brought a different kind of magic to Pink Beach! It was a cloudy day (and not long after, we would face some crazy rainstorms up on the island, but keep shooting anyways)!

The soft light made the colors were even more vibrant, and we did one of our favorite ever drone flatlays, where everything just came together! I can still remember stopping by Eugene and Jeanette’s room later in the evening with Kenny so we could all collectively wow over this photo and talk about things prewedding photography related!

This shoot was also a testament to great teamwork, with Kenny and Yuka both there to help bring this prewedding journey to life!

Here’s to one of my happiest places - Padar Island, the power of teamwork, and the love stories that inspire us every day. 💖✨

Team is everything 💪, and having our team shoot together is always an absolute joy! ✨ The chemistry we’ve built over the years makes every shoot feel seamless 🎥, and it’s something we’re always grateful for, whether it’s a wedding in Singapore 🇸🇬 or an overseas adventure! 🌍 Recently, had the chance to shoot with Xinyi and Benny at Mountain Terrace 🏞️ in the Bay Area for Hailen and Ye’s wedding, and what a joy it was! 💍🎉

Always a blast adventuring around with these two —from exploring the Golden Gate Bridge 🌉, catching a Giants game ⚾, and indulging in burgers at In-N-Out 🍔—so many great memories both on and off shoot! Teamwork, trust, and the friendship we’ve built are what truly make this journey in life special! 💖

A special shoutout to and for their kindness and hospitality during our time in the Bay! 🫶 And coming up soon—we’ll be sharing more photos of the whole team 📸 from our team shoot! (Yes, including our Frenchie Royal (aka Team Mascot) 🐶 who can’t wait to take some pictures too!)

Just had to share one last series of family photos! So, we just about found our newest happy place! 🌵✨ Had an absolute blast exploring the magic of Joshua Tree National Park with all its... Joshua trees! Nate was so jet-lagged he slept the whole day but woke up just in time for sunset! 🌅😴 Hopefully next time, he’ll catch more than just the golden hour 😂 On top of that, it was awesome showing Nate and Jade where I grew up in NorCal and spent my college/working years in SoCal — super nostalgic (and kinda mind-blowing 🚀) because when I was younger I never quite imagined what it would be like to come back again one day with my wife and son (and doing things like spending so much time at Trader Joe’s and Costco 😅)! Super grateful to all my family and friends who made time to catch up and meet up, it was so nice seeing all of you again! And to for making these memories look as awesome as they felt! 📸💫”

An amazing time witnessing the marriage of Claris and Timothy under the grand white arches of The Clifford Pier! Can’t say enough about what a blast it was spending the day with these two and their super fun high energy bridal party! From the beautiful wedding ceremony, moving praise and worship session (“Been So Good” by Elevation Worship 😇❤️) and Claris and Timothy’s heartfelt speeches, the day was so full of love in the air and the presence of God shining all around! 🥰 Loved every moment of this special day, and so blessed to be given the opportunity to capture all these special moments! 🙏

Loving all the fantastic vibes from Claris and Timothy’s sweet wedding 🤵‍♂️👰 at The Clifford Pier, one of our favorite places to shoot in all of Singapore 🇸🇬! It was everything you could want in a wedding, good company, good music, good food, and endless amounts of love! 🥰 One of those days we could have just kept on going, which we kinda did, 11 hours straight with a bright and early 530am start! 🙌 Just when we thought it was all over and nearly all the guests had left, our sweet couple (and their amazing bridal party!) asked if we could do a bridal party shoot, to which we said, sure thing, why not!!! 😇 (We’re always up for more good times! 🙃)
