Mission - Turtle Preservation & Rescue!

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with a resort in Batam to create a unique turtle hatchery education centre, affectionately dubbed as “Mission Turtlery.” This facility will serve as a sanctuary for turtle eggs collected from nearby islands and provide a nurturing environment for baby turtles once they hatch. Our ambitious goal is to ensure that at least 90% of each batch of hatched turtles successfully make their way into the ocean.

The Turtlery & Education Centre will be more than just a protective space; it will function as an incubation center for turtle eggs and a safe space for newly hatched turtles to gain strength before their release back to the sea (during optimal tide conditions). Additionally, this facility will double as an educational center, enlightening locals and students about the crucial role these turtles play in marine ecosystems and the importance of preserving our ocean life for future generations.

Fun fact - Did you know that only about one in every 1,000 turtles survives to adulthood? Tragically, many hatchlings face dehydration if they don’t reach the ocean quickly enough, while countless others fall prey to birds, crabs, and various other predators. Our mission is to dramatically increase the survival rates of these precious baby turtles in our oceans!

We invite organizations to join us in this important initiative! Participate in constructing the Turtlery Education Centre, and experience a rewarding team-building retreat just a short getaway from Singapore. Your support—whether through donations & hands-on help—can make a significant difference in preserving these incredible creatures.
