OUR HISTORY

Irene Hee founded Tropifame in 1982 as an ordinary flower shop. As business flourished, Tropifame expanded and was re-registered as Tropifame Floral Design School (Tropifame) Pte Ltd in 1984 to cater to numerous requests from clients who wish to learn the art of flower arrangement. Its objective is to aim for higher inspiration through creative floral art and develop friendship through FLOWERS. The school offers floral arrangement workshops for those who wish to take up this as a hobby as well as offer short courses and diploma to groom people pursuing this career path. Tropifame also provides floral arrangement services for all occasions.

Tropifame is associated to a chain of floral training schools both locally and overseas. Tropifame Floral Design School Pte Ltd received good support from friends and participants from all walks of life both at home and abroad over these years.

As Principal of the school as well as an instructor in floral arrangement, it gives Irene great pleasure to see students complete the course and master the art of floral arrangement. To date, Tropifame has trained student both locally and overseas within the floricultural industry.

Irene held regular Floral Exhibition, named "Charity with Love - Tropifame." This exhibition showcases creative floral designs by Tropifame as well as exchanges the floral art among local and overseas designers. This exhibition would also help to raise funds for various charitable organizations.
