To our dearest Chloe,
Being a parent is one of life’s greatest joys and responsibilities. When God blessed us with you as our firstborn, He gave us the most precious gift. You bring us immense joy (even if you sometimes drive us a little crazy)! We want you to know that children are a blessing from God. You and your brother are our greatest treasures, and we thank God daily for both of you.
We praise Him for the privilege of raising you. Our prayer is that we continue to guide you, not by the world’s standards, but by God’s. The world might focus on outward beauty, but remember: true beauty comes from within. God values the purity of your heart above all else.
“Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.”
1 Peter 3:3-4
08-08-24, you turn 🔟! Ten wonderful years of loving you, watching you grow, learn, and love. Always remember to cherish your family, build meaningful friendships, and reach out with kindness to others. In loving and serving others, you glorify Christ. No matter what you do, do it for God’s glory.
We also hope you carry a thankful heart. Gratitude is recognizing the blessings in life, big or small. Whether it’s the warmth of the sun, the laughter of loved ones, or the joy of a simple treat, always find happiness in what you have.
Happy 10th birthday, our sweet Chloe! We hope you enjoyed celebrating with your friends and our simple family dinner. We love you more than words can express. Thank you for being our daughter, for loving us, and for needing us all these ten years. Never lose sight of the amazing person you are. Believe in yourself as much as we believe in you. May God guide your steps and bless you with all the grace you need.
With all our love,
Daddy & Mummy
Last Sunday, our incredible (almost) 10-year-old daughter #chloetanenqi completed her first triathlon Super Sprint event at 113 Triathlon Desaru!
We (@sharinpoy & I) couldn’t be more proud of her courage and determination. Despite running being her weakest discipline, Chloe soldiered through and secured a podium position for her age and gender group!
The journey to this race wasn’t easy. Chloe battled a high fever of 40°C most of the week leading up to the event. She recovered only on Friday and still chose to press on and race on Sunday. Her perseverance and resilience was truly inspiring.
Adding to the challenge, Chloe had no opportunity to practice open-water swimming due to an oil spill that took place in Singapore waters two weeks before the race. Hence this race is her first time swimming in the open sea, yet she faced it with bravery and strength (complaining to us afterward that she almost puked in the waters because it was too salty 😝).
Chloe, we are immensely proud of you! Keep shining and inspiring us all with your incredible spirit. Your journey is a powerful reminder that with determination and resilience, one can overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Your story encourages us all to face our challenges head-on and to never give up, no matter the circumstances.
Hosted a family of 11 at this super comfortable and professional studio. That also concludes my work for the weekend!
