Happy New Year pals ☺️ I realized I have never done a proper introduction on Instagram before. Since many of you are new here, allow me to share abit more about myself and Mente Floreale.

Hi there, my name is Delia 👋 and I’m the lady behind Mente Floreale. Arranging flowers started as a hobby for me when I was studying in university. Right after graduation, Covid took place and it was difficult to find a full time job in my field of study (Sports Science) so I thought why not give this flower business a run and see where it’ll take me. Haha, guess who went too deep in and can’t pull out anymore 🤭

Those who have followed Mente Floreale since the beginning would know that I started running this business from my home located in Hougang. Being a home based business, I had to cope with limited working and storage space. My customers often have to meet me at my block’s void deck / open space carpark for their flower collection (in which some people found it iffy as it wasn’t a proper shopfront). Regardless, I’m so grateful for all the love, trust and support that my past and existing clients showered on this humble small business and helped it to grow and expand over the years. Last January, this small business reached a stage where it can no longer function from home so I moved out and shifted into a studio space that is now located at 12 New Industrial Road. It was the biggest leap out of my comfort zone as I have never done something like this before.

It’s 2025 now, and we’ll be turning 6 years old this year! ☺️ It has been a roller coaster journey filled with many uncertainties but also, endless opportunities to grow, learn, build friendships, and to spread love and joy through flowering.

Today, I’m celebrating a milestone with yall! I took another brave step out of my comfort zone and extended my studio contract for 2 more years.
Honestly, I am not sure how this next 2 years would pan out but I’ll stay hopeful, and look forward to meeting and flowering for yall! ❤️ Thanks so much for sticking around with Mente Floreale. May this year be a fruitful one for all of us! 👋☺️

Backdrop board makes a perfect decor for enlarging and marking out your stage area when the portable stage platform provided by the venue is sometimes too small to fit your fam and flower decor.
We custom made this backdrop for our couple in their chosen sweet pink shade to go with the rustic, vintage flowers repurposed from their outdoor solemnization.💕 Not forgetting the petite bud vases and candles that lined their long dining tables.

Slowly crawling back to proposal sets after leaving it on a hiatus as I was too occupied figuring out wedding related florals and styling. Oops. Definitely can’t wait to showcase more proposal props up my sleeve and hopefully, getting more clients who’ll let me do so! These giant size blooms have been around the scene for some time but ahh, they just have a way to make people fall in love with them! I’m imagining a set filled with fresh daisy flowers with several of this giant daisies popping out of the “daisy field” in the middle of it, the love of your life kneel down and proclaim his/her love for you. 🌼 very demure ~

It’s Peonies season! May & June are the best months to enjoy this flower at its plumpest state. We may still see these guys again around end of year but they may not always be this big.

Made a bts video to document our greatest blessing this year. 🙌🏻 I thought maybe you guys might be curious what went on behind the scenes of creating the magical flower garden for Shawn & Xenia’s wedding last Sunday (the glamourous version). 🤪 The sweat from heavy lifting of logistics; the 10k steps up and down; the cuts from prickly thorns on plants and flowers; the precision in making sure your flowers look their best before it’s presented at your wedding. Stem by stem, arranged by hand. These are the little things that people don’t often get to see behind the making of a flower set at a wedding venue. Thankful for my team of flower elves who woke up at 5am to make this dream setup come true. It takes a kampong to accomplish this 🫶🏻 We love what we do, and we love it even more to see our couple and their guests enjoy the flowers we create for them. Thank you @shawnthia & @hotcheekylace for showering your wedding flowers with overflowing love and appreciation.
