Customer wanted a bright bouquet to gift a young senior (Singaporeans know this age classification yeah). N she chose an 8 stalks sunflowers bouquet from my previous design. N there I was cracking ideas using Roses 😋.
Best of all, she is so receptive to use orange wrappers which I stocked up from an unfulfilled order...blah blah blah reasons of not going ahead with the order.
Well, u lose some, u get some 😉

Long lasting preserved flowers arrangement for a bakery opening. This picture does not do justice to the size which is 60cm height overall. The Japanese owner is so delighted to receive the gift and kept exclaiming it's so beautiful. 😊🥰

This is a long post...

Agnes and I got acquainted through my sister about my small business. She was a flower lover, always gifting friends and families with bouquets and arrangements for any and sometimes no occasions. I knew her as a generous friend and family, someone you can count on, from the numerous deliveries I did for her when her recipients love to chat a little about her upon receiving the surprises.
Throughout the years, we became friends. I remember she once said she communicated more with me than my sister. She even surprised me with flowers on my birthday!
Agnes was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 18months ago. She was a fighter and believer in her faith. Recovered from her first surgery fast and furious. Her son got to spend more time with mommy dearest ever since. Enjoying delicious meals by Agnes who was a career woman before her illness.
But fate is just not so kind to good people at times. Like her best friend said "God has better plans for her. 😢"
I went to her wake with her favourite hydrangeas, sending her off among her favourite things.
Agnes, it was a short but memorable friendship. I wish for you to be among angels to guide your way in the other world, with hydrangeas decorating your path.
Agnes left us at age 49, leaving behind her loving husband Christopher and young son, Raphael.

Some materials are more expensive for a reason. They are better in quality which means it can be manipulated into shapes and designs of our desire. Creating a more natural and different texture to liven up a preserved floral arrangement. Another tip taken away from lesson.

Learned a new technique to wire and bloom preserved roses in 3cm sizes. Less is more and use more of the less, constantly reminded to have more obvious height differences between the flowers. Something new to add on to what I am used to or should I just adopt the new style totally?!

We knew each other since our parents support group days in our children's primary school. It was fun to catch up after years of losing contact, n what better way to do so over their 25th wedding anniversary.
