We are proud to be Spirit of Enterprise (SOE)'s Growth Partner once again! We also had the honour to present the SOE-Neo Start-up Award 2022 onstage, where we celebrate the achievements of deserving start-up entrepreneurs in Singapore.

For the second time this year, Spirit of Enterprise celebrated the achievements of 45 Honourees at the 2022 edition of the SOE Awards. We welcomed 500 guests in the Grand Ballroom of The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, and had the honour of inviting Minister of State Low Yen Ling as our Guest-of-Honour once again for the evening.

Top honours last night went to:
- Mr Toby Koh, Group Managing Director of ADEMCO SECURITY, winner of the SOE-CLA Global TS Entrepreneurship Award 2022
- Mr Alan Chang, Managing Director of OA International Holdings Pte Ltd, winner of the SOE-PropNex Top Honouree of the Year Award 2022
- Mr Jackson Lee, Managing Director of Creme Works, winner of the SOE-Dian Xiao Er Social Contributions Award 2022
- Mr Sean Tan, Founder & CEO of Insect Feed Technologies, winner of the SOE-EVORICH Sustainability Award 2022, a new award category introduced for the first time

The best-performing student interviewers were also conferred the SOE-Charles & Keith Student Awards for their passion, hard work and dedication under the SOE Student Interviewer Programme.

After a two-year hiatus of the SOE Book, we are also proud to announce that the 2022 edition of the Book was launched last evening at the event, featuring the journey and inspirational stories of seven entrepreneurs comprising past and present Award Honourees.

In conjunction with our 30th anniversary this year, we are delighted to announce that we will be supporting I Love Badminton - Singapore Badminton Association through a package worth $300,000 over 3 years. The funds donated will go towards enhancing SBA's high-performance programs for local shuttlers.

An appreciation ceremony was held on 15 April (Friday), where our Founder, Chairman and CEO, Mr Neo Kah Kiat, presented a mock cheque to representatives from SBA, where Mr Mohamad Abdullah Alhabshee, Patron-in-Chief of SBA was also present.

In partnership with Workforce Advancement Federation - WAF and SkillsFuture SG, our subsidiary, Thong Siek Global - who operates the DoDo Seafood Treats brand - held a factory tour, webinar & virtual dialogue with Dr Tan See Leng, Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry in attendance.

Titled “Leading through Digital Transformation & Culture of Innovation at Workplace”, the dialogue was moderated by Council Member of WAF and CEO of Verztec Consulting Pte Ltd, Mr Nicholas Goh. Neo Group’s Founder, Chairman & CEO and Chairman of WAF, Mr Neo Kah Kiat, CEO of Thong Siek Global, Ms Novelle Lim and Deputy COO of Thong Siek Global, Ms Lim Xiaofei were also present to share their opinions and offer their experiences and advice on business transformation pre/post Covid.

2022 marks the 30th anniversary of Neo Group, thus it is fitting that this milestone coincides with our mission, and what we have been campaigning right from the start – we believe in giving back to our community.

Neo Group officially adopted the 13th branch of Sian Chay Medical Institution – Chua Chu Kang branch, where $500,000 was committed to the building and renovation of this Choa Chu Kang branch, with a further $300,000 to fund the branch’s annual operating expenses and medicine costs. Our Founder, Chairman and CEO, Mr Neo, who is also the Honourable Chairman of Sian Chay, the Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr. Gan Kim Yong, and Volunteer Executive Chairman of Sian Chay, Dr Toh Soon Huat, was in attendance to officiate the opening ceremony.

Sian Chay provides free traditional Chinese medicine consultation and subsidised treatment to the community regardless of race and religion, and we are proud to count Sian Chay as one of the main partners of our corporate social responsibility programme. We hope this can inspire and encourage everyone to continue doing their part to give back!
