Through the wedding process, it’s always a little messy, fun but with tension too, at some point of time. However, it’s always so overwhelming when the wedding day finally unfolds. We’re glad that we’ve been through with each and everyone through the entire process, and that we stop looking for what makes a perfect wedding but what matters to yourselves.

Have been receiving questions as to why our photos are really different, why our Instagram page is slightly moodier and of darker hues, and why our style of photography is so unique and unusual. People also often ask us, how do we get such raw photos and how do we evoke such emotions without being too intrusive. So, finally, we decided to pour our hearts out on our little garden of thoughts and ideals - our website.

Ultimately, we’re forming a new movement to go beyond wedding and relationship documentation. We aim to create, to craft and to understand the intricacy of relationships and marriages. Going in, deep, into every wedding, every shoot and every meeting. That each of us walk out feeling more emotionally connected than before, that we all love, feel and live, together.

A wedding so close to our hearts and it felt like yesterday when we were driving along dirt roads in Tasmania, trying to avoid Tasmanian devils sitting in the middle of nowhere, or trying to whip up meals from Coles. Museums are a must for us on travels. We were greatly intrigued by the massive collection of paintings in Uffizi, and love Rembrandt and Caravaggio especially. Painters, create images from memory, from their imagination. At the same time, you can say that painters are the absolute first wave of photographers; they document, they create and they are definitely lovers of beauty, impracticality and ideals. Perhaps, it’s an art a level above photography, or perhaps, it’s a place where photography evolved from.

Have a closer look at this shoot we did in the warm morning light, inspired by the numerous paintings we went through over the weeks. How lighting, colours and slight movement can bring out the elegance of the gown. And again, in one of @weddingcrafterssg’s new collection which we’re very much in love with.
