Over the weekend, we had the chance to organize SKH's Family Day with a fairytale theme. It was incredible to see both staff and families fully embrace the theme, dressing up even for an outdoor event! There were plenty of games, delicious food, engaging workshops, and activities for everyone on site. Collaborating with the SKH team was a fantastic experience, and we are thrilled that everything went smoothly!

Here's our final post commemorating a decade of doing what we love, spanning from 2019 to 2023! 🎉

Launching fireworks & organising WGS Grand Opening in 2019 was a dream come true, opening doors to other grand openings and festivals. The pandemic posed challenges, but our resilient team and supportive clients kept us going. We embraced new ventures like virtual events, the realm of Esports, and delving into the world of D&D events and bettering ourselves to bring out the box activations to festivals & indoor events.

Reflecting on this wild 10-year journey, the backbone of Satire is undoubtedly our incredible crew and team who made everything possible. (You know who you are!) 🙌 We've accomplished so much, and the memories, epic after-event suppers, and parties are priceless.

Organizing events can be exhausting, but it's the unwavering support from loved ones, team members, ex-team members, part-timers, vendors, and contractors that defines us. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey!

Continuing the celebration of Satire's 10th anniversary! 🥳 Swipe left to see some highlights from 2016 - 2018! 🎉

We're immensely grateful for the incredible opportunities that allowed us to bring to life a diverse range of events, from artsy alley-way clubbing parties, 4th series of Festival village at Singapore Night Festival to the adorable doggy woofathon!

We also had the privilege of being part of a farewell to the old Mediacorp building for the Singapore Heritage Festival, and reimagining joget & street wayang for another SHF series. Collaborating with cultural performers & artists in Singapore was an amazing experience! 🌟

During this period, we hosted a series of outdoor movie screenings and even ventured into the world of drive-through cinema! These years also saw us through our first experience putting together a Halloween rooftop event and a number of exciting upcycling initiatives! 🎬🍿👻

The countless carnivals, events, and festivals were invaluable learning experiences, enabling us to grow and evolve alongside our partners and vendors.

Here's to many more years of creativity and collaboration! 🥂🌟

🎉 Unexpectedly Satire celebrates a decade!

What began as a passion project to bring gourmet delights to our beloved Pasar Malams, pitching to clients this concept - paired with mesmerizing performances by local artists or enchanting outdoor local film screenings, has blossomed into a thriving festival concept and now, a go-to events company.

Over the years, we've had the privilege of collaborating with incredible local entrepreneurs - from F&B vendors to talented musicians and artisans - to curate festivals, events and cultivate a vibrant art scene in Singapore.

Every moment has been a treasure and we are grateful for peeps that have joined us through this amazing journey.

Now, commemorating our 10-year journey, starting with festivals done in 2013-2015! 🥳✨

Was looking through all photos of the activations and installations we have done through the years, this was one of our favourite where we truly felt connected to the arts.

An interactive duct tape wall, a 3D installation that allowed you stand at different angles to capture a heritage icon and also a mobile library where you can take a seat and read random books dropped by strangers, amongst dance and music performances by local artistes.

Best of all, we had so much fun with our clients conceptualising this. 🫶

Realised its events like these that really reminds us of why Satire started, a celebration of the arts, creativity and entrepreneurship. 🤍

2022 has been a crazy year indeed. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine we will get the chance to do a dinner and dance at Sands Ballroom!

It was indeed a mind blowing experience and we gained so much for this. Am glad to hear that the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Special thanks to who made it such a memorable night and also our performing acts the Jazzlings and those created a seamless, perfect mystical atmosphere before entering the ballroom.

Most importantly, our amazing crew who made it all happen. ❤️ We did it 💪

Returning bigger, better and bolder in January 2023, expect a vibrant outdoor village with dedicated road closures on St Andrew’s Road, a decked-out Empress Lawn and a decorated Singapore Courtyard with our footprint extended indoors into Gallery spaces.

Bask in the here and now – lounge around decorated spaces, interact with the neon light installations, shop from trendy and innovative stalls and unwind and fuel up while you enjoy the public art installations and façade projections all around the Civic District. ✨
