Our shoots are definitely weather adaptive and create what's best for the given situations for our overseas shoot(: had a gloomy day 2 during this trip but the gloominess definitely set the mood right for this vibe!

One of our favourite locations to shoot at! Japan-Tokyo road trips has always been memorable for us with many couples and this one was 1 that was dear to our hearts! Many hidden gems that we found along the way. We even had a Japanese grill dinner with so much goodies that we bought from the supermarket, making it such a comfy Airbnb dinner that we missed so much!

We'll be at the coming Hitcheed wedding wonderland this weekend at Suntec City! You'll be able to find us at booth D18(: This would be the last roadshow for this year along with our discounted rates before we adjust them for 2025(: If you're intending to drop by this roadshow, do come by our booth to see what we can offer you (especially if you're keen to have an overseas road trip shoot like this!)

Fun fact: you can tell if the bride/groom is an emotional person from their parent's personalities. And that's what we usually take notice of when shooting emotional moments eg. Veiling, family photos, speeches, to capture the intimate emotional moments that slip by quickly during the wedding day!

Aside from weddings being a celebration of the joining of two lovers, it's also a time where people close to the couple hearts come together and reconnect friends and families, the genuine interactions happening throughout the wedding is something we love to capture!

How do you define "Feels Natural" when you see someone's wedding photos? We get told by many couples that our images give them the sense that it feels very natural and they can relate to them. And with that, it's important that you feel comfortable and be your usual self with a camera in front of you. Bring out that inner child that wants to have fun with your partner! How does that happen when it naturally feels awkward when a camera is pointing at you? Just leave that to us(:

This was by far a wedding with the longest duration of speeches that lasted almost 1 hour, but being in that moment sure didn't feel that long when you can feel the warmth this family brings.

Emotional connections that everyone in the ballroom sensed was really heartwarming. A wedding brings 2 families together, but such weddings really show a display of the love within the family.

There's something about shooting wedding days that motivates me in the recent years. Gone were the days when it was constant stress to create the best images of key activities just to be able to appease a target audience for future couples.
Right now it's more of capturing what feels right for the couple. Sensing relationship bonds between friends and families over random conversations throughout the day, really shooting how I felt in my perspective of the connections between people. Think of it as being in that moment with them, but taking a step back to capture when I felt something.
This shift in mindset really made the whole process much more enjoyable, aside from the body tiredness after weddings, it no longer feel mentally draining compared to the past.

So a note to my future couples: Be present in the moment throughout the wedding. It'll be genuine memories that you'll remember when you're looking through your wedding photos + videos (:
