THE JOURNEY My name is Beatrice Angela Sesay, stage name TRÎCE. I am a singer and songwriter, presently a recording artist at Young Nation Music(YNM) Entertainment label. - - My journey has been really challenging. As a very young girl i have always loved music. I used to express myself with it anyway possible, like writing 📝a song and singing it with my siblings or posting a video of me singing on social media. I got noticed and received positive feedbacks which encouraged me to press on. - - I was always listening to my favourite radio station(capital radio). It was kind off a studio for me. I got updated with trending music on the radio. I will browse the internet for the instrumentals of the songs that I like. Its funny right but that was exactly how i practised singing. - - I was never satisfied with doing just that. I wanted my dream to become a reality. It so happened on my 21st birthday (4th January) when i went for a photo shoot at SINEWAVES STUDIOS, i came across a producer called Pointblank(CEO OF YNM). based on a recommendation made by YOUNG FO ( a male hiphop artist) the producer invited me to the mike🎙and played a beat he made. - - His exact words were "i know you are very talented because have seen and heard you sing, today is your birthday what perfect date it is to reminisce where it all started. Years from now you will look back with a smile on your face thinking this was the perfect gift i gave myself" - - With these words producer Pointblank said to me, right in that studio and at that moment🤗 i wrote a song titled "Complicated" and recorded it the same day. Long story short i was officially signed to Young Nation Music(YNM), released my first single titled "NAUGHTY💋"which was appreciated by fans nationwide and attracted so many opportunities for me including a collaboration with my mentor Jimmy.
