My life took a drastic turn as soon as I turned 18years of age. I would join friends in the village settings to go for firewood fetching and to fetch water in a distant place just to ensure that all water drums are properly filled to their brim. However, this did not go down well with my step mother since I lost my mother when I was 10years of age. My father had to remarry after 5years of mourning my mother. He tried though because I still applaud his love for my late mother.

However, fate had her twists as my step mother never loved me for once. She woukd scream loud my name at the rooftop as if I had committed a grievous offense.
Nothing I did appears good to her as she would cease every little opportunity to break my spirit and throw tantrums at me but I never allowed her words to get to me as I remained focus and dedicated to furthering my education at the tertiary level.
It was 2014 when I gained admission to study mass communication in one of the higher institution here in Port Harcourt. Things weren't smooth for my father as he lost his job and my step mother refused catering for my fees since she hated me. I had to do menial jobs of catering for people's food via cooking for them and getting paid on a weekend. I would even go as far as jumping lectures some days just to go out there and get some of my clients cloths washed in order to get paid so I could pay my fees and fend for other of my needs. I continued in such manner till I graduated.

My father later díed and my step mother is seriously sick as she didn't give birth to any child in my father's name.

Today, I am a graduate and finished serving and I currently own a catering service in which I am always choked up with works every weekends catering for people's events.
Last week, I visited my step mother and took her to the hospital and footed the bills. I called her few days ago and she is indeed responding to treatment and getting better.
I thank God for how he turned my life around.
