🌟 The Journey of Market Lounge: From Concept to Reality, and Now to the EXPO! 🌟
Two years ago, our Executive Director embarked on a bold entrepreneurial journey, driven by a desire to solve a problem faced by so many SMEs and startup founders: limited market access and visibility. That spark of curiosity led him to question, “What if we could be the one to build a platform that changes that?”

Armed with a background in events management and busines, he reached out to friends with small businesses and hosted a demo event—Market Lounge 1—right in the heart of Manzini. The idea was simple: provide a space for small businesses to showcase their products, free of charge, to test the waters. To our delight, the response was overwhelming! Not only did our friends participate, but more businesses eagerly applied to join after we posted the flyer. And just like that, Market Lounge was born.

Through Phase 1 of our journey, we held events in various locations. The constant? The unwavering interest from SMEs—proof of the immense need for a platform like ours. But as we grew, so did our challenges. While we had the support of SMEs, we struggled with customer attendance. Feedback forms consistently told us the same thing: people hadn’t heard about the event, despite their interest. Our in-house marketing needed a boost.

Enter Phase 2, where we proudly announce our strategic partnership with ! Together, we are crafting a robust marketing strategy to ensure Market Lounge reaches every entrepreneur, customer, and stakeholder. We’re putting the spotlight where it belongs—on you, the SMEs and attendees, the lifeblood of our community.

We owe a massive thank you to all the participants who believed in us through Market Lounge 1 to 6. And now, we’re excited to introduce the next chapter: The Market Lounge EXPO! 🌟
