The McKinsey & Company Battery Insights team projects that the entire lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery chain, from mining through recycling, could grow by 27 percent annually from 2022 to 2030, when it would reach a value of more than $400 billion.

Pure Hydrogen has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), that could lead to the supply of five hydrogen fuel cell vehicles to the Vietnam market.

The initial supply of vehicles will serve as a pilot as key policymakers in Vietnam move to decarbonise passenger transport services.

Under this initiative, Pure Hydrogen will provide alkaline electrolysers to produce hydrogen and hydrogen refuelling equipment to power its vehicles, replacing the need for diesel and reduces Vietnam’s carbon footprint.
