@Characterised by her thrilling blends and effervescent energy, @jubamusicldn has steadily built a reputation as a confident, skilful and daring DJ, who champions African and African diasporic future sounds across Europe and beyond. A child of the Nigerian diaspora in the UK, since 2016 Juba has been paying musical homage to her heritage as a DJ who principally showcases music from Africa and the African diaspora. As a regular host on Berlin's Cashmere Radio and core member of London's Boko! Boko! collective, not only is she a skilled DJ, but she also utilises her platforms to explore socio-political issues surrounding the world of music. 2019 has seen the buzz around Juba grow, with DJ sets at CTM Festival, Splash Festival and Keep Hush and she continues to be in high demand in clubs and venues across Europe. A highlight has been @boilerroomtv debut, where she delivered an electrifying set and proved that not only is she a captivating DJ, but a skilled craftsman whose unique energy brings any party to boiling point.

@this_is_jamiie is an international DJ and producer based in Berlin. She sees herself as a selector who loves to bring music to the people, using it as a cross-cultural language. JAMIIE's musical taste and choice of sound is influenced by her African roots, closely intertwined with her early experiences with Techno and electronic music when she discovered "The Steve Mason Experience'' on BFBS radio. Her sophisticated and beautifully crafted dj sets are defined by vast electronic sounds. The emotionally charged atmosphere, alternating deep, melodic and synthesizer-kissed components are in a constant synergy with uplifting and tribal elements colored by a rhythmic, percussive and spiritual energy. When playing, her infectious smile, cheerfulness and inexhaustible presence behind the decks electrifies the crowd in no time, enflaming dancefloors worldwide.

In 2016 the Hyenah became Afro House artist of the year on Traxsource. The Hyenah had the most charted track of the year on Resident Advisor and two tracks on Beatport’s annual Deep House Top 10. The Hyenah is running the only regular club night for African House music in a major house club in Europe. It’s called RISE and happens every other month at Watergate in Berlin. The Hyenah has released tracks and remixes on labels such as Freerange, Objektivity, AEON, Systematic, Drumpoet Community, Pokerflat, Akbal Music, Tribe Records and Toy Tonics. It has remixed artists such as Jimpster, Frankey & Sandrino, Denis Horvat, youANDme, Miguel Puente and the Afro Warriors. The Hyenah has djed all over the world.
