Apparently I'm not good at multi tasking across various social media platforms.
I've been trying out tiktok but neglecting FB 😅

The story of an Addict

It's a nightly habit...a nightly raid of some sort.
I would hear the front door open and immediately know his addictive habits are overpowering him once again.
I think in a childish way too, he thinks if I can't see him, I'm oblivious to his waywardness and maybe even in his mind he's not guilty.

Every night my husband religiously makes a trip to the freezer.... takes out some frozen cheesecake squares.... microwave for a few short bursts...
devours said cheesecake blocks and then claims he's taking a break from eating cheesecakes!!
Too much lactose! 😅

I'm not sure how to help him.
My only wish is that when the freezer empties he'll turn to a more healthy addiction (as he's deceived himself to believe)🙄

I'm not gonna pretend.....
My nerves feel pretty racked right now.
I have no idea how I'm going to complete prep for tattoo fest and launching my new products.

I'm not even doing any fancy launch but it's a new phase for Dessert Den as I'm offering 2 new products.
I don't know where this road will take me and you could imagine the questions I ask myself almost everyday- where am I going with this...what the hell am I doing....shouldn't I just stick with the simple things ???

It's a resounding (yet somewhat reluctant) No cuz I believe Allah / God is guiding me and I need to respond whether I see the logic in it or not!

Irregardless of the ups and downs, the starting and stopping I've so religiously done over the last few years, Dessert Den and you cheesecakers always call me back....like a boomerang 🤔🪃

With that said, I'm heading back into the kitchen to finish what I started.

There's still a good few hours to today .
Tomorrow will come and I'll face it then.
