The Tobago-Brand concept was established in 2011 to be a motivational tool to spread positivity to fellow Tobagonians. Two God fearing young men initiated the concept and have decided to expand it by motivating fellow gospel artistes of Tobago while striving to get their music recorded and aired. Our desire is to help them move their music forward. Previously, we had a program called the Ultimate
Praise, on Radio Tambrin which was aired, on Sunday’s at 7pm. Over a two year period that program marketed Tobago’s gospel music through networking with other gospel stations internationally. This marketing strategy is still active. We have hosted one event since being on the air called the Tobago-Brand “Fellowship of One”. This event was held at the Victory Outreach Auditorium, Sangster Hill, Scarborough Tobago, and it was our first attempt to bring all the Tobago Gospel Ministers together. There was a live broadcast. The Tobago-Brand annotation originally stated the concept does not belong to any one person or entity. However, the overwhelming responses received from gospel artistes in Tobago have motivated us not only to make it an entity which organizes events, but also as an umbrella that acts as a talent agency on their behalf. Therefore the Tobago-Brand is currently a registered promotional entity called “Tobago-Brand Promotions” a Non-Governmental Organization (N.G.O.) which deals with Christian entertainment. A database will be created for all the artistes, musicians and gospel promoters, where interested individuals can retrieve pertinent contact information on management teams for various artistes and Bands in Tobago. Our Mission: The Tobago-Brand Promotion intends to bring identity to our people, one that focuses on structuring a society that is God fearing, family oriented, integrity building, and transfer these qualities into every aspect of our lives in Tobago.
