Twenty-five years ago, Richard and Patricia Lewis, inspired by the Ins & Outs of Barbados, decided that Trinidad & Tobago deserved its own exciting and colourful reference guide.

After getting the go-ahead from the Bajan magazine’s publishers, Keith and Sally Miller, and recruiting their friend Marie Gurley to help with production, the Ins & Outs of Trinidad & Tobago was born.

Today, the Ins & Outs team is happy to announce the publication of our 25th anniversary issue!😱

The magazine remains the ultimate guide for visitors and locals alike, with its interesting content, breathtaking photography, and coverage of everything Trinbagonian.

Nigeria has announced the addition of plumbing, makeup, hairstyling, phone repairs, agriculture, interior design, plumbing, tiling and floor works, event decoration, baking, and satellite/TV antenna installation, and 12 other new subjects to the basic school curriculum. The Nigerian government says this is to boost students' practical skills and employability. The new subjects will take effect starting this month for primary and junior secondary students across the country.

Hot sorrel is excellent for flus...take advantage this season

Caribbean Sorrel Tea
Ingredients:
9 ounces dried red sorrel buds
3 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
3 strips dried orange peel
1 whole clove
1 quart water
⅔ cup white sugar
Ice cubes for serving
Directions:
In a bowl, combine the dried sorrel buds, grated ginger, dried orange peel, and clove.
Bring water to a boil in a kettle or saucepan and pour it over the sorrel mixture. Stir in the sugar until fully dissolved.
Allow the mixture to steep at room temperature for at least 8 hours or overnight for a richer flavor.
Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the solids.
Serve chilled over ice cubes. Enjoy!
