Vocal artist and master of Mongolian overtone Mark van Tongeren, our very own beautiful lady Abong & photographer and laser lighting master Gibson Chai, will be performing together.
Expect; highly intuitive deep vocals, sensual contemporary dance accompanied by visionary laser lighting.

Cinema Night #2、 #3-David Verbeek

Artist Short Bio:

David Verbeek (1980, The Netherlands) studied film, photography and philosophy at the New School University in New York and graduated in film directing at the Dutch Film Academy in 2005. While studying, he finished his first feature Beat (2004).
In the ten years that followed he made a total of 6 international feature films that have granted him international recognition in the world of contemporary art-house cinema. Titles such as Shanghai Trance (2008) went to festivals around the world and had a big release in China where it was screened in 240 movie theatres in 88 cities. His film Club Zeus, also set in Shanghai and Mandarin spoken, won the Return of the Tiger Award at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. In 2010 his Taiwan set, third feature film R U THERE was selected to the main section of the Cannes film festival where it was part of that year’s prestigious Un Certain Regard programme.
Other titles are How to Describe a Cloud and his latest film Full Contact which premiered in 2015 as part of the PLATFORM competition at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Next to his cinematic work, Verbeek has been active as a video artist and photographer. His haunting photo series Ghost Month (2014) was shown in the Museum of Contemporary art in Taipei, Taiwan where it was on for 2 month as a large solo exhibition. Later that year the series was presented in the UNSEEN photo fair in Amsterdam as well.

His work as a video artist also started in Taiwan was when he made the experimental dance film Immortelle. A 10 minute installation made in corporation with the famous Cloud Gate group as choreographers.

His second video installation is part of the Close-Up exhibition in EYE. Full Contact, the installation version, is a 9-minute installation on 2 screens simultaneously and compares the alienation of drone warfare with the intimacy of physical fighting.

Suelynee Ho) 展示她的身體攝影作品之外, 她將帶來一小時的行為演出。

演出內容是關於她一直以來研究的--身體與自己的關係, 她將把自己當作一種『材料』放在一個保護膜的狀態, 在這個無盡的時間裡, 她要探索的是當自己的身體, 變成觀眾再製的一種媒介/材料, 觀眾的眼睛會看到什麼？ 當身體變成純粹的物質, 它是更脆弱? 還是更強壯？

張鶴千

雲林人，畢業於國立台北藝術大學舞蹈系，2017-2019年參與長弓舞蹈劇場《BON 4 BON》《BOUT》製作，巡迴至香港、蘇格蘭、愛丁堡、伯利恆等藝術節，期間也與小事製作合作，2018年在高雄衛武營演出《五虎將Fighters》

鶴千的肢體細膩安靜
靜靜的看著他舞蹈

因為疫情關係，我們只接受15位入場😂，確保大家都有自己的安全小宇宙來看電影，現場也會做額溫測量和酒精消毒🧼🧴。

This Friday (3/27)and Saturday (3/28)we will be showing these two great films at 21:00 and 23:00 both nights. Please send private message to reserve a seat. and hurry cuz there are only 15 seats per night!

We do this for now because we want to be responsible giving the circumstances and do it in a way to avoid ppl sitting close to eachother. We will be seperating snacks, wearing masks and applying hand sanitizer constantly.
