On July 1, 2022, at the fifth extraordinary session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO, the element “Culture of making Ukrainian borscht” was added to the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Immediate Protection.

From July 8 to 10, the Wadström Tönnheim gallery in the Spanish city of Marbella will host an exhibition and sale of contemporary Ukrainian art.

The exhibition aims to support Ukrainian artists during the war, present contemporary Ukrainian culture worldwide, and strengthen professional relationships between Spanish collectors and contemporary Ukrainian art. The participants are famous Ukrainian artists and sculptors such as Daria Aloshkina, Nazar Bilyk, Artem Volokitin, Petro Hronskyi, and others.

Part of the proceeds will go to the international charitable foundation Future for Ukraine.

600 million in three days!

Serhiy Prytula Foundation and blogger Ihor Lachenkov began fundraising on June 22 to purchase three Bayraktar TB2 drones for the AFU.

During the fundraising process, the organizers' initiative became viral. The topic did not leave the top positions in social networks due to the wide publicity among bloggers, businesses, and opinion leaders.

Initially, it was planned to raise 500 million UAH within a week, but the ingenuity and creativity of Ukrainians allowed to collect 600 million hryvnias in only 3 days. Now the organizers will be able to buy not 3, but 4 Bayraktar drones.

"Freedom is stronger than nuclear weapons"

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has started in France. One of the first performances of the opening day was a panel of the delegation from Ukraine, which included singer Jamala, creative director of Banda agency Pavlo Vrzhesch, director Oleg Tomin, coordinator of the UNITED24 initiative Yaroslava Gres.

The delegation told how the creative community of Ukraine is working to defeat the enemy. Speakers shared their own experiences of facing war and the work they are doing to bring victory closer.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy recorded a special video address for the participants of the festival in which he called on the international creative community not to stay away, to use the power of creativity and media for the Victory of Ukraine.

Support Ukraine by buying

Students from the Design Academy in Eindhoven together with the charity United For Ukraine, designed a patriotic headdress and sweater inspired by the designs of Ukrainian artist Masha Reva.

The Unite All sweater depicts hands in the colors of the Ukrainian flag clasped in a fist to show the Ukrainians' opposition to Russian aggression and to support internally displaced people.

This year Ukraine House Davos made Ukraine to be heard on the world stage. Politicians, entrepreneurs, economists, journalists, and representatives of the creative sphere united in a common aspiration to help our country to overcome the consequences of the terrible war. For several days, Ukraine House Davos held a crucial dialogue on security, sanctions, humanitarian aid, reconstruction, and future rebirth of Ukraine.

President of the WEF, Borge Brende, called for a “Marshall Plan” for the reconstruction of Ukraine while president Andrzej Duda of Poland remarked: "I cannot accept that the world just turns a blind eye to the crisis in Ukraine - this war affects all of us."

Voor een 75-jarig jubileum van een gebiedsontwikkelaar hebben wij onze krachten gebundeld met het Duitse VOK DAMS worldwide en het Oekraïense Slupsky Event Management.

Een mooie samenwerking die voelt als een geoliede machine. Want ondanks de verschillende talen die we spreken, is de taal van events universeel!

Met Slupsky Event Management hebben we trouwens nog meer in petto... daarover later meer!

For the 75th anniversary of an area developer we’ve joined forces with the Germany-based company VOK DAMS and Slupsky Event Management from Ukraine.

It feels great to co-operate with these companies, it already feels like a well-oiled machine. Despite the different languages we speak, the language of events is universal!

Also, with Slupsky Event Management we’ve even more in store. More about that later!
