Here’s your daily dose of cuteness! 🐥
For those of you who purchased dahlia tubers from me, here’s how I plant them:
1. Select a full-sun location.
2. Dig a hole 4-6” deep.
3. Place tuber horizontally in the hole, eye side up.
4. Cover and wait to water until you see growth.
Growing Tips: Once the plant reaches about a foot tall, pinch above the 3rd set of leaves for a sturdier plant with more blooms! For best results, stake the plant and water deeply a few times a week.
There’s still a few varieties available at gembloom.com. Free local pickup or free shipping on orders of $100 or more!
So many colorful blooms in 2023! Who’s ready for more in 2024?! 🥳
55F on December 23☀️I of course spent the afternoon cleaning up the garden 😁!
Spring 2024 is gonna be great! 🌷
One of the first dahlias lifted today 😍. I enjoy digging tubers - it’s a fun surprise every time you unearth a new clump. Plus who doesn’t love multiplying their dahlia stock?! These will go into crates with damp vermiculite to overwinter in a 55F room. Based on these first few clumps a dahlia sale may be in order!
😍 Putting flowering kale on my must grow list for next season! ✔️
I couldn’t decide if I wanted to celebrate summer or lean into fall with this bouquet’s color scheme. Turns out you don’t need to choose! Customer approved! ✅
These are the things I live for in the garden. 😍
