All amateur fight card, fighters making their debuts are encouraged to join the card. Allow our promotion to help introduce you to the competition side of MMA.

All bouts will be sanctioned by the VCSS.

We’ve had numerous fighters reach out with interest of competing in our January event.

If all fighters who are planning on competing on our January card at the Higher Education Center could send a message and confirm their participation. I can have some medical forums sent to be completed.

We would need all medical forums back by mid December to ensure you get a spot on the fight card.

We’re overwhelmed and grateful for everyone who’ve sent messages and inquired about fighting. There’s still plenty of time to get on our card if you are interested in getting a fighting career started!

TRI-CITIES AREA we are looking for local amateur fighters to fill our first fight card of 2022. Backwoods Brawl will be invading the Higher Education Center in Abingdon, Virginia on January 29th. We are looking to showcase all talent, from debut fighters to experienced amateurs..our first event will be for everyone.

This event will be sanctioned through VCSS.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Backwoods Brawl lands at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center in Abingdon, Virginia on January 29th, 2022 for our first event.

This will be an amateur fight card, and will be sanctioned by the Virginia Combat Sports Sanctioning Commission.
