As I was harvesting these little peony buds from the flower field I came upon this newly born fawn. It watched me picking flowers and soon curled up and fell asleep. The mother chose a beautiful special place to give birth to her beautiful baby. I love Spring and the promise of new life every year!

I'm sharing the progress of our little Branch Bender Cidery sparrow that built a nest in our tasting area. It was built in the large flower bouquet right at the counter. She must feel safe there and flys in and out even on our busiest days. One of our customers captured this awesome photo of her feeding worms to these pea sized birds. Amazing.

We're looking forward to this Labor Day weekend for multiple reasons!
- Wild Ember will be on site Saturday from 12-4 with the wood-fired oven offering delicious pizza's to enjoy with some ciders! Yum.
- We're extending our weekend hours. Saturday we're open from 12:00-5:00 (closing promptly for a private event afterwards). Sunday we're open from 12-4 as usual. And Monday (Labor Day) we're opening from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- And last but not least, this years batch of limited edition Devil's Half Acre cider is ready and we'll be offering that once again until it's sold out.
- But the REAL piece that makes it all come together is the people that we get to meet and interact with. Some are new friends. Some we've known for awhile. Sharing our time, space and stories with those who visit is the biggest reward of all.

Hi friends! Here are our plans for cider tastings as we close out 2022. We will be closed on Christmas weekend. On New Year’s Eve (Saturday) we will be open for tastings and cider pick up from 12-4 and then closed on January 1. By then we will announce how we plan to adjust for the winter season. Of course if you need to stop by for a few bottles of cider, just let us know when you’d like to come by. More to come soon…stay tuned and have a wonderful holiday season!
