"The house smells incredible! I doubled the recipe in a 9x13 and it baked perfectly at 50 minutes. I used frozen berries and will 100% make this recipe again. It_s a family favorite and the lemon compliments the dish perfectly! Soft on the inside and a slight crisp on the outside."

Too hot to cook but craving something blue? Try frozen blueberry squares. Combine half a cup of melted butter, a quarter cup brown sugar, 1 cup flour and half a cup of chopped nuts. Blend together and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. That’s the only baking for this recipe. When this is cool, mix 2 cups blueberries and half a cup of sugar. Let stand 10 minutes. Beat 2 egg whites with 1 tablespoon lemon juice and beat until stiff peaks form. Fold in 1 cup whipped heavy cream. Combine with berries and spread on top of the baked crumbs. I sprinkle the top with crushed shortbread cookies and freeze.One of my favorites!

🧑‍🍳 New Recipe Alert 🧑‍🍳 Chicken Cordon Blueberry
It's July, which means blueberry season! Is there anything that encapsulates the seacoast region of Maine and New Hampshire than summertime blueberries? It’s kind of our thing. Now that there are farms a-plenty that have opened for blueberry PYO, there’s no shortage of blueberries in the area!
There are so many ways to eat blueberries - pies, muffins, pancakes, salads, by the handful- but we want to highlight a bold, savory dish that is different than the ways we usually think of cooking with blueberries. Alas, chicken cordon blueberry! A New England twist on a french classic. As always, if you make this recipe and like it, please feel free to post it and tag us!
