November 15th and 1 week away from Sneak Peek Night! Today we will be cleaning up all the leaves that have fallen and fixing the few items we know that need some TLC. Hoping tomorrow that we report that we are 100% ready outside. Hope to get indoors complete minus the stair rails since they need to be repainted. On to our Dog of the Day:

This 7-year-old, 20–25 lb. pup has had a tough past, but he’s still hoping for the right person to give him a real forever home.

This adorable 11-year-old Spaniel–Dachshund mix is a 40-pound cuddlebug born on Halloween and ready to find his forever sofa.

KHALVIN is calm, loving, housebroken, crate-trained, and knows commands like “sit,” “paw,” and “go to your house.” He’s a perfect gentleman—patient in the mornings, great on a leash, and always smiling. ❤️

A little chubby and a little sheddy, he’s 100% worth it for the joy and comfort he brings. Whether he’s soaking up sunbeams or curled up beside you, he’s happiest just being near his people.

November 13th and 9 days left until Sneak Peek night. Excited that this weekend we will do the final touches to the display and possibly do a few test runs to make sure ALL the lights are working. Hi there, I’m WALKER CARTER, and yes… I know I’m adorable. With my puppy-dog eyes and dashing good looks, I’m a total heart-stealer — and I’m hoping to find my forever family just in time for the holidays!

I’m about 2 years old, 28 pounds, and the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. Walks? Love them. Snuggles? My specialty. Adventures? Count me in!

November 12th with only 10 days left until we light all the lights for Sneak Peek night! Worked on indoor Christmas yesterday 1/2 way done. Hope to finish by this weekend. Love having plenty of time to sit back and enjoy looking at them. On to our Dog of the Day:

November 11th - 11th more days until we light up the Christmas lights for Sneak Peek night. We got the wind testing that we needed yesterday so have a few things to tighten up when it is warmer. Plus, lots of leaves have been falling so will need to clean up the yard again this weekend and the following weekend too. On to our Dog of the Day:

✨ Meet GLINDA UPLAND! ✨
This precious 3-month-old Hound mix is pure sugar and snuggles. She loves playtime, exploring the world, and then curling right up in your lap to recharge. She’s gentle, affectionate, and already showing how smart she is — she’s well on her way with potty training, eager to please, and already knows how to sit pretty!

GLINDA UPLAND would love a family who can give her plenty of love, patience, and space to stretch her legs. A fenced yard would be ideal — as a hound, she loves to run and take in all the good smells! (Apartment living isn’t the best fit for this cutie.)

November 10th and 12 days left to go! Will not be doing any updates on the Christmas lights this week but hopefully start tackling the indoors with this cold weather. So, without further delay, on to our Dog of the Day.

🎄 Meet BABYBEL – Your Holiday Helper! 🎄

BABYBEL is a gorgeous 4-month-old Shepherd mix with the most mesmerizing blue eyes—no filter needed! She’s sweet, smart, and learns quickly.

This joyful girl has plenty of puppy energy (maybe a little Aussie in the mix!) and would love an active family who will take her on adventures. Have kids who need a playmate? BABYBEL is ready to help wear them out!

She’s about 20 lbs now and expected to be around 50 lbs when grown. She’s doing great with house-training, is crate trained, and is learning to walk nicely on a leash.

November 9th with 13 days until Sneak Peek night! New character arrived yesterday so he is in the ground and plugged in ready to go. Replacement white lights for train came yesterday but no time to get them on, hopefully by next weekend. Now I'll have to start focusing on the grocery list to ensure we have everything for the Holiday treats and Hot Chocolate. Yummy!
On to our Dog of the Day:
🎄✨ Meet RUFUS ROCKSTAR! ✨🎄
But you can just call me RUFUS. 😉

I’m a 1.5-year-old, 70 lb Pit Bull/Husky/Shar-Pei mix (yep, DNA confirmed!). I’ve got a gorgeous brown-to-black ombre coat and the kind of soulful eyes that say “I’ve got love to give.”

Don’t let my serious face fool you — I’m a sweet, gentle, affectionate boy! I love running and playing outdoors (I look pretty majestic when I run 👑), so a fenced yard would be awesome. And I’d love another playful dog friend in my forever home! 🐾

Right now I live with 19 other dogs — and I truly do great with everyone (even cats!). I’m:
✅ Crate trained
✅ Potty trained
✅ Good on a leash (just still practicing not to pull)
✅ Polite and friendly when meeting new pals

I may look tough, but I’m all heart. I’m loyal, gentle, and just want to be someone’s best friend.

November 8th - 14 days left to go for us to kick off the season with our 19th annual Christmas light show's Sneak Peek Night! We all went back to work yesterday so nothing new was accomplished. Weather pending, may attempt to knock out 1 or 2 of the items on our list tomorrow. Without further delay, let's get to our Dog of the Day:

Meet ROADS — an adorable 8-month-old beagle pup with a heart full of sweetness. 🐶💛
He’s playful, loves all other dogs 🐕‍🦺🦴, and has that classic beagle charm that makes everyone fall in love instantly.

ROADS enjoys playtime and zoomies 🤪💨 and then loves curling up for cuddles afterward. 🤍
His potty training is coming along nicely ✅, and he’s eager to please.

November 7th / 15 more days until we reveal the 2025 Hrockin Hranicky Christmas Light Sneak Peek! We are officially 98% complete. Waiting on 2 items to arrive, one new character will be delivered today and waiting for some lights to arrive to fix one train wheel and smokestack. Need to hook up the snowflakes in front of the garage and last but not least is to be the colorful strobes all over the front yard. Hopefully everything will be complete by the end of the weekend minus the strobe lights. Now on to our Dog of the Day:

🎄 Meet FORREST GUMP! 🎄
FORREST GUMP is an 11-year-old Brittany who recently lost his person and is hoping to find a new family to love. He may be a senior, but he still has plenty of energy and zest for life! He’ll thrive with daily walks and a fenced yard for running and sniffing adventures. 🐾

He’s learning indoor life after spending years outside, but he’s sweet, smart, and very food-motivated, so he’s picking things up quickly. He does well with a calm dog friend, but no cats or small critters—he loves to chase.

November 6th with 16 days until Sneak Peak night on 11/22 at 7:00pm. We are 95% complete with hopefully a 1/2 day left of work to do. Then it will be on to fixing and fine-tuning items that need to be repaired along with ensuring the programming is spot on. So glad that we have had such a beautiful week of weather and most importantly, we are not working out in the cold that is coming in this weekend. Now on to our Dog of the Day:

🎄 Meet TOMMIE TRUFFLES! 🎄
This sweet, silly one-year-old, 50 lb pup is all heart! TOMMIE TRUFFLES started life rough, but now he’s healthy, fluffy, and LOVING every moment of being a dog.
He’s playful, smart, and thinks sticks and pinecones are treasures. He knows “sit,” walks nicely on leash, rides great in the car, and even chills at the office. He LOVES people—tail wag on sight! Because he still has happy puppy energy, he’d do best in a home without very small kids.
TOMMIE TRUFFLES sleeps in the bed at night and crates when alone (so he doesn’t go on adventures of his own 🧸).

November 5th, 17 days to go. Weather has been perfect this week allowing us to keep on trucking along. All characters are in place with the exception of the 2 new ones on the way and those are all plugged in (trust me, that is extremely time consuming). It's so rewarding when it all comes together. On to our Dog of the Day who is extra special and beautiful:

🎄✨ Meet FAWN MERLE! ✨🎄
This gorgeous Border Collie/Aussie mix (born 2/2/25) is full of joy, play, and love! She’s a high-energy pup who loves to run and chew toys, so an active home familiar with herding breeds is best. 🐾

FAWN MERLE is a double-merle, which means she is deaf and has vision in only one eye, but she doesn’t let that slow her down! She’s already learning hand-touch cues and basic behaviors with her foster mom, who is a certified trainer. Her adopters will receive a free training session + lifetime support! 💗

She’ll do best with older kids (10+), no cats, and a secure fenced yard.
