Why did we start this business? *particularly why now?

Because we've talked about doing something like this for years, something that created a space for people to spend more time TOGETHER in an intentional way...but we caught ourselves saying, "when the time is right, we will" or "when things slow down, we can work on that."
*sound familiar?

The (not-so) funny thing is...THINGS are never going to slow down.
When you check one "thing" off the list, three more are ready to take its place.
*forever and ever, amen.
We fell into the hustle trap and we watched our friends and family do the same.
All of the sudden, there was NO time for relaxing and unplugging in the way that we wanted to be with each other.

We homeschool AND I work from home (2 businesses on top of this one 😂) and STILL I missed my family because we had NO time together.

So we made BIG changes. We started being honest with ourselves about where our priorities were and set boundaries to protect what was ACTUALLY the most important to us.
Time together.

And we wanted to be able to do that for the people of our community too.

So Firefly Hollow Picnics was born and the entire Holloway family is a part of what we do here.
From our family to yours, let us show you how wonderful it is to slow down together.

From date nights to family gatherings and everything in-between, we are ready to create a unique experience for you to "come home" to what means the most.

I don’t actually know, but it’s on a triple-word score anyway.

Fun is our life motto over here, well at least it’s one of them. 😏
When you book a picnic with us games are always included! It’s all about quality time and doing things you don’t normally have the time to do.

What’s the BEST word you’ve ever played on Scrabble? Or in todays times Wordle, because with all the words we’re learning on their it will transfer over right? 😎

Dahlia Floral Design is a local shop owner that creates the most breath-taking arrangements and bouquets. We love supporting her business (because collaboration over competition, am I right?!) and would love to pick up a special take-home floral to add to your picnic for you. 💐

Glamourous Birthday Party Set-up ✨

2021 Booking is CLOSED! 🎉😭🙌🏼 You guys put me to WORK! Exactly 5 months ago, I decided to do the thing I’ve been dreaming about for 10+ years. The timing was horrible and honestly, it still is. You showed up anyways. 💛 I have had SOMETHING every single day since we started. Some days it was a sweet picnic for 2 at the park, some days it was back-to-back 50 person events, some days it was a simple s’mores box...some days it was all of the above plus some 😂👏🏻 I’m grateful for every single something and will continue to be in 2022. We have BIG plans and bigger dreams. Thank you for being a part of it all. 💛 Going to wrap up the last few things we have on the books for this year and take a couple days to ourselves and then we will meet you in 2022!! 🎉🎉 Our calendars (and hearts) are already so full for the upcoming year. If you have something in mind, reach out and let’s start talking about it! We can set-up payment plans and grab your date before it’s gone.
