Congratulations to our 2025 Impact Grant Recipient Forest Hills Central Middle School! Today, Principal Jeff Simon was presented a check for $1,000 that will go towards the Central Middle School Care Closet. The Care Closet was one of nine applicants for the 2025 Impact Grant. It was a tough decision for our Grant and Scholarship Committee, as all of our applicants were of a wonderful cause. We are excited to be able to make a difference to those students in need. Thank you to all of those who brought donations. We will have a collection site at each meeting throughout 2025.

What a great way to kick of 2025! We had a full house this morning. Existing members, new members and guests! It was great to see so many faces! We were given an engaging presentation by our own member Rhoda Kreuzer, of Partners in Action speaking on the topic of "Fueling Your Organization to Grow."

The Forest Hills Business Association welcomes new member Rich Mulligan, Professional Life and Health Agent, with Ram and Elm Worksite Benefits.

Rich has been in the health and life insurance business for 18 years. Rich started RAM & ELM Benefit Solutions in 2022, as a way to bring his business into focus under one umbrella. RAM & ELM Benefits is designed to work with business owners to help them evaluate what their current benefit offerings are, if any, and to help them determine if changes or improvements are needed.

Rich is also actively trying to grow his Medicare business in and around West Michigan by working with individuals, families and retirees to help them understand how Medicare works, what their timelines are and what costs and benefits are involved.

Today, a few of our board members and members delivered gifts to 47 nursing home residents at Mission Point of Forest Hills. It was heartwarming to witness the excitement in the air. One of the staff members close to tears stated, “this may be the best Christmas some residents will have had.” From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who donated to this wonderful cause! Special thank you to David and Mary Mapes, Realtors of JH Realty and Stu Atwater of Atwater Law for helping to deliver gifts. Because of you, the residents will have a wonderful Christmas!

Yesterday’s Holiday Party was a success! We had a great turnout despite the snow and cold! We enjoyed great food and drinks. The best part was the company. Lots of laughs and great conversation. Thank you to all of our members for a great year! Special thank you to Hungerford for hosting our event!

A very special thank you to Mary Mapes, Grant Winkleman, and the board members (as well as some of their spouses and children) who helped put together a great event.

We look forward to seeing everyone in 2025!

The FHBA welcomes Timothy Fish, Business Development Director of Restoration 1!

In 2005, Timothy became involved in the restoration industry. He has held titles of Marketing Representative, Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager and President. Timothy also owned two companies, Blue Pond Marketing and The Timothy Fish Agency (insurance sales and service.)

Timothy has been involved in numerous networking groups and held multiple positions within those groups. Timothy has also served as the President for the Village of Freeport.

Timothy has been married for 34 years and has 6 children and 3 grandchildren. Timothy’s goals, “Wherever I have been or whatever I have tried, have been to be as helpful as possible to see that the people around me, are in some way, better than they were before they knew me.”
