WMMBA is proud to be partnering with www.upcyclebikes.org in 2025. One of our first initiatives will be collecting new and used bike saddles for their refurbished bikes. Our first scheduled collection will be at the Annual meeting on Jan. 23. Bring your new or used bike seat. If you don't have any extra in the parts bin, consider visiting your favorite Local Bike Shop and snag a comfort saddle to support their mission of enhancing independence and community connection.

The next Yankee Springs Time Trial Support Team Meeting is scheduled for this Thursday at 7pm. We are looking for volunteer support in three main areas.
1. Volunteer Coordination
2. Fundraising and Sponsorship
3. Event Planning

Kent County is leading a 23-mile trail connection, connecting the gap between the Fred Meijer White Pine Trail State Park, Fred Meijer Grand River Valley Rail Trail, North Country Trail, and Iron Belle Trail.

A special thanks to the East Grand Rapids Community Foundation for their support of the Fred Bunn Multi-Use Trail Signage Project. WMMBA volunteers put the finishing touches with a new kiosk map and donor recognition sign earlier this week. Hardware, posts, wayfinding maps, trail maps, reflective directional arrows and educational signage totaled over $4400.
