I haven't actually fallen off the face of the earth, though it does sorta feel that way. I had a major health scare in February, and have spent more time in the hospital than at home, and no time in the workshop at all, the past three months. I'm honestly not real sure when I will be able to return to smithing, but there is good news! I have plenty of masks that I finished last year and never got up on the website, and I'll start putting snapshots of them here for you to lay claim!

Sorry for the lack of recent posts, but we're preparing for this Saturday's Q***r Arts Festival in Plainfield, VT, and we're excited to be there!

Our next show IS happening, despite this summer's flood! This is such a sweet show, in such a sweet place, and I am so glad.

Update: We still intend to hold this year's Q***r Arts Fest in Plainfield!

The town of Plainfield suffered serious flood damage on July 10 and 11, including the destruction of several homes and many roads and bridges both in the village and in other parts of the town. We continue to grieve for everyone who has lost homes and lives.

However, the Rec Field did not flood at all, and we believe we will still be able to hold Q***rAF! there!

While we know this will bring some new challenges, it feels important to us to keep the festival in Plainfield if at all possible. Our hope is that this will let the community come together in both grief and joy. We are committed to making space at the festival for collective healing and creating opportunities to help support the town as part of the festival.

We look forward to seeing you there on August 17th!
