👏👏 Possibly the most coveted prizes - Maryland Flag Equestrian Prizes - donated by Dale Ganley Clabaugh State Farm Insurance, were awarded to the best scoring Maryland Resident adult amateur at the MDHT Highland Series HT presented by HCS, USA Saddlery & Fittings for the November Champs weekend (finishing on the lowest score). Congratulations go to Marylander Tara McShane!!

🎄 Entries are now OPEN for our annual Donation XDerby taking place December 7 & 8 to benefit Gallop for Life!

Here's a bit of info on what we do, and for ALL of the entry details head over to our website and visit the Calendar page (or go right over to Compete Easy and check it all out!)

Saturday, Dec. 7th: Starter to Modified
Sunday Dec. 8th: Logs/X-rails to Novice

AND The Gallop for Life Holiday Parade Costume class for horses and riders will be held at noon on Saturday and Sunday! Bring your horse's best costume and parade around the ring for a chance to win some great prizes! (When planning your costume, please note proper helmets are required for all mounted riders.)

MDHT XDerby courses: All rings will have cross country obstacles you would find on a typical competition course. The objective is to establish a rhythm over solid jumps in reliable consistent footing. Optimum times will be posted.

As the 2024 Highland Horse Trials Series comes to a close, the Maryland International Equestrian Foundation (MIEF) is honoring those wonderful equines who start and continue riding careers - the wonderful Lesson Horse!! 🙌👏 Congratulations to Destination Farm's Big Comfy Couch, winner of the MIEF inaugural Lesson Horse of the Year award! Big Comfy Couch was piloted by adult amateur rider Cyndi Hill.

🙌🏻 Weekend Costume Winners!! Gabby was the winner of the dragon saddle pad for jumping and Mrs. Pastures cookies for ring 1 dressage, and Caitlyn won the Mrs. Pastures cookies for best costume in ring 3!

While everyone’s eyes were glued to the Paris Olympics this summer, international connections were being made in a rural town in Maryland where an exchange program two years in the making was quietly taking place.
